Tomi Lahren Assaulted at Minneapolis Restaurant, Trump tweets support

Regardless of whatever political lean you are, what you believe is never free license for others to abuse you.

However foul you think another's spoken words may be, you simply cannot justify assaulting another by saying "they knew what they signed on for".....you have just lost any credibility or the right to proclaim you believe in tolerance.

If those two words trigger you, I advise you not to read the actual law, because those two words are in the law describing the act of a person that is alien to the US being in the country illegally.

I was just thinking of a topic that would net lots of Fox News contributors. Comment was more tongue-in-cheek than serious. Could've been that or, any Fox News contributor who breathed air that day.

Honestly, I looked at a video of the alleged incident repeatedly. I did not see anyone throw a drink in Tomi's face. I saw someone throw the contents of a glass, maybe a few ounces of clear liquid, in the general direction of Tomi as Tomi walked away.

I heard ample profanity directed at Tomi.

Who here anticipates assault charges as a result of the incident? I don't.

It's a terrible thing that happened to her and her family, and no one should ever have to endure that kind of treatment based on their political views. It is unfortunately not too surprising given the division that currently exists which emboldens people to act out this way.
