Why would the left...an institution that loves more government...vote for more government? Does it matter that it is ineffective, doesn't work well, or raised costs on many people? Nope.

Democrats wanted to give us a tracheotomy for lung cancer. They didn't want to treat the problem, they wanted to treat the symptoms. Why? It is a hell of a lot easier to get votes if you pretend to solve problems...you know...rather than solving them.

Gun control.

Welfare.

Education.

Climate.

All of the above have legitimate middle ground positions that most people are smart enough to grasp. But the left wing politicians don't care about those middle ground views. They want power and money just like the right wing politicians. Believing anything else is naive and ignorant of history and government.

So. You can pick your favorite and pretend that you are somehow morally superior for voting democrat, but please spare us if you start preaching that nonsense.

It's almost like he's thinking he can use Trump tactics to bring people back to the status quo. If so, then the Dems have truly learned nothing from recent events.

His statement isn't entirely accurate.

They do care about some people, just not the people they claim to care about, generally speaking.
 
Why do people on the other side take the bait? The left thinks you should use the government to provide people personal favors and assistance and if you don't then you don't care about people. Any statist will lean on the idea that if you don't agree with the government doing X that you hate Y or want something bad to happen to Y. Just ignore the dumb statists that can't see past the state providing them everything. If they think you hate the poor because you don't like welfare then let their simple minded idiocy riot their brain without comment.

EXACTLY! They had seven years to create a replacement for the ACA and all they could do was put up a p.o.s bill that they couldn't even get to the house floor for a vote. Talk about the party of incompetence. But lest we not forget that they are going to protect your guns from the imaginary feds who are coming to take them away..............lol
