However, the exception is that highly regulated and licensed armed security personnel may be hired by anyone such as himself for protection by firearms - meaning in his view only rich people should be allowed to be defended by firearms.

guns are not an issue. it is the people using them that are the issue. you are blaming an inanimate object for something it has no control of.

I don't deny that people are also the problem. There is a plethora of issues but if you remove the gun then the damage caused or inclination to cause damage is either much less or not there. The principle cannot be denied Australia, UK, India, Japan, NZ, Italy among many other countries have effectively applied and seen the success of this principle.

Its become this privileged, obsessive and unhealthy gun culture. You only have to look at the facts, whereby there are 120.4 guns per 100 people. The US makes up only around 6% of the worlds population yet owns 46% of the worlds civilian guns.

Interestingly countries or groups or even people who have this obsessive and unhealthy relationship with something do one thing......they deny it.

1. Gun Grabbers - Terminology you used in your previous answer, so I am not sure how you didn't understand this. This is referring to those who want greater gun control within the USA.

2. 'People trying to limit gun deaths and injuries'- By reference to people I mean those seeking greater gun control to limit the number of deaths and injuries. There has been a 32% rise in gun deaths since 1999 with the total deaths being 43,000 in 2019. Gun injuries stand at 72,000. Gun casualties stands at over 100,000.

3. 'People trying to limit the economic and financial cost'- The costs associated with lost income represents the biggest cost to the economy, employer costs, police and criminal justice responses and health care treatment among others total to around $229 billion.

4. 'People trying to limit the increasingly concerning, privileged and unhealthy gun culture'- There are 120.4 guns per 100 people, meaning the US is the only country to have more guns than people. Interestingly (and quite disgracefully) the country 2nd by most guns per capita has only 60 guns per 100 people. So the US has more guns than countries like Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan etc.. countries in war, political turmoil and experiencing terrorist groups. I mean come on.....
