THIS is what treason looks like

Treason? The inexperience of a someone lacking any previous exposure to foreign policy or international intelligence. But that is, what you get for installing a neophyte as President. Nothing in it to surprise anyone. And to think, he did it with only 25 percent of voters balloting for him. If you don’t like this, shame is on you for not doing more to turn out the vote among the 50 percent that backed him by not voting.

Nope. It's not on me. I voted..................Gary Johnson, and considering the alternatives, I think my vote was a great one.

But don’t get all collusion-delusional. Abramovich’s spokesman said the billionaire isn’t aboard — the ship’s just in town for scheduled maintenance. It's been there since the 18th. Can I have the $5 spot?

Nope. Because if you believe that, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Of course they are going to say no one is aboard.

Don't you think it's suspect that, out of all of the places he could dock his boat, he chooses Mar-a-Lago?

Do you have anything else to add, other than insults?

If not, find another playground. We're full up here.

I'm not surprised that it took took 29 posts to ask this question.

Well one should know what they are talking about before one makes accusations.
Knowing what treason is very much is important if you want to accuse someone of it.

What we are seeing, reading, hearing every day is just the modern version of an old Soviet propaganda tactic, known as "whataboutism"
Simply put, whataboutism refers to the bringing up of one issue in order to distract from the discussion of another. It does not apply to the comparison and analysis of two similar issues in terms such as why some are given more social prominence than others.

During his meeting with Russian ambassadors at the Oval Office, Donald Trump gave them information that was classified top secret, and put the lives of at least 2 Israeli agents at risk.

Indeed.

As Trump HimSelf said, “Anyone fighting ISIS is our ally”

Yet, in another contradiction of Trump by the senior commanders of the armed forces, Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said of Trump’s “anyone fighting ISIS is our ally” approach: “Chairman McCain, I do not believe it would be a good idea to share intelligence with the Russians.”

Intelligence sharing and the law

The Trump administration still indicates it’s willing to partner with Russia. “I think if there’s a way that we can combat ISIS with any country, whether it’s Russia or anyone else, and we have a shared national interest in that, sure, we’ll take it,” White House spokesman Sean Spicer said during a Jan. 23 press conference.

Gen. Dunford said in September that the U.S. military was opposed to sharing intelligence with the Russians. Dunford told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he does “not believe it would be a good idea.”

So if the Pentagon were to change course, the White House will have to first find some way to mollify America’s generals, and second, reverse the law so it can team up with the Kremlin … legally.

https://warisboring.com/if-america-...ussia-in-syria-it-will-face-two-big-problems/

By "legally" Gen. Dunford refers to the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act which prohibits working with the Russian military due to its invasion of Crimea. So while Trump does not care he is an ignoramus he does take seriously serving the interests of Putin. U.S. law and the Constitution mean nothing to Trump while Trump treats the tyrant Putin as a model and partner.

That's exactly right! There is zero substance to any of this crap, other than paybacks are hell. This is the new society we live in. Take down Obama, Hillary, and the rest of the Democratic party and bring Republicans into power, followed by taking down Trump and the other Republicans and bringing Democrats back into power, rinse and repeat. That's why we have one thousand investigations going on, on both sides. Congress wants Americans to think they are actually doing something when the reality is both parties aren't doing a damn thing but endlessly investigating each other to bring the other side down and Americans are picking up the tab for all of this nonsense.

Not treason.

The president has complete authority to declassify whatever he pleases, to whomever he pleases, whether it be wise to do so or not. Trump has the authority to these things without any oversight because that's what it means to be commander in chief.

It might be incredibly stupid, but Trump does have the legal authority to do these things.

Cite precedent instances by a Potus plse thx. To the Russians especially and in particular.

Cite instances also of when a Potus had a meeting in the Oval Office with the Russian ambassador to include the Russian Foreign Minister to which U.S. media were excluded while only Russian media only were admitted. Americans got photos of the Oval Office meeting from the Russian media which was the only media there.

Also kindly advise us of the Potus authority to be exempted from the Espionage Act.

If you can keep bringing up Hillary's emails that had no effect on national security of course we are going to bring up Trump's feeding top secret info to the Russians. Not to mention that stooge Trump appointed as NSA director. No American has ever compromised national security as much as Trump. He's a full-fledged double agent compared to Hillary.

you are totally wrong. He must consult with intel. community.

1. That's an incredibly stupid, dangerous, and destructive thing to do.

2. The president has the authority to do it. He is the authority for classification of information, and can declassify things at will.

"Bad decisions that increase the risk to American national security" =\= "Treason", which is defined in the Constitution.

When the result has been that the sidewalk is being rolled up on Daesh?

This is what winning looks like, and it us happening under Trump, it never did under Obama.
Trump has followed the Obama counter-ISIS campaign plan to a T.

No he does not. He is the authority from which the Intel Community derives it's ability to classify information in the first place.

The President can decide to declassify anything he wants. That doesn't mean doing so is wise, it's simply one of the many, many, many reasons we should elect wise and experienced people who have demonstrated they can handle the job, instead of people who simply tell us what we want to hear and promise to Go After fellow Americans we dislike.

That's not what I hear, I hear that the military rules of engagement changed a lot with Trump, and we know that our willingness to stop getting in the way of Assad and the Russians has changed.

BTW the Obama plan included Mosul, which was a brutal fight that got Iran more into Iraq, and chewed up the Iraq forces, which is why we are dealing with the Kurd problem now....which could turn out very bad.....sorta looks like yet another OBAMA MISCALCULATION, of which there were so many, especially in foreign policy.

EDIT: what was gained by chewing up the Iraq forces is yet to be seen, as it appears the Mosul will continue to be a problem, this time with the abuse of the people by outsiders being instead of coming from Daesh it is now coming from affiliates of the Iraq government in Baghdad...... probably an improvement but maybe not by much.

Obama was well warned that this was a likely outcome.

He said to go for it.

Recommend reading through E.O.12333. Note the whose authority under which information is classified to begin with.

(Hint: it's not Congress)

Then you've heard wrong  Nothing changed in the counter-ISIS Campaign, and we seem to be beating the physical Caliphate, though ISIS will probably survive.
