Like that is even an big deal. Has he had a DUI? Ever been arrested for drunk in public. I knew several guys around his age in college that were serious pounders. They are all successful people today. Interestingly they all tend to play down how heavily they drank. BFD. He wore an ugly tie on Wednesday - go for that.He lied through his teeth....and frankly I don't know how much he might be drinking now and neither do you. We certainly can't trust anything he says about his drinking because he has already lied through his teeth about it.
White House limits scope of the FBI's investigation into the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh
What are they afraid of?
And how do they think they're helping remove the doubt about Kavanaugh's fitness?

NBC News incorrectly reported (as usual) that I was limiting the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, and witnesses, only to certain people. Actually, I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their discretion. Please correct your reporting!

And, the elected representative of the people, within the Executive Branch is the president.
Even the Executive branch is checked and balanced. The President is not the dictator of the Executive branch. There is a reason that the President can only nominate Heads of departments. That is because the framers did not want a dictatorship in the executive branch. The Unitary Executive Theory is nothing more than attempts to make our great Republic a dictatorship. And considering that the Constitution does not give the President such powers, the Unitary Executive Theory is not even Constitutional.

The oath of office for the attorney general never mentions the President. Further the Attorney General is the Head of the DOJ not the President. Indeed the department heads answer to the President, but that means that the President does not have the power to micromanage any of those departments. The President can fire the department heads but can get in trouble and even be impeached for doing so. There are limits, checks and balances on each branch of the government. The executive branch has grown far beyond the scope that the framers created. The Unitary Executive Theory is a perversion and an attack on the Constitution. The executive branch is not a dictatorship, the presidency was never intended to behave as one. The President can only do what the Constitution says that he can do.The president is the chief executive. The Constitution specifically states that. He is literally the only elected member of the Executive Branch, so it makes perfect sense that every department and agency answers to the president.
Can the president order an investigation? Yes, he can. Can he order an investigation on a whim? No. That's spelled out in the 4th Amendment.
If the departments and agencies don't answer to the president, they don't answer to anyone and that is unacceptable.

If trump gets away with such things as President, then it will lead the way for other president to use even more expanded executive powers. Personally that is where I am looking at, not the partisan crap going on now.
A. OATH OF OFFICE
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental
reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which
I am about to enter So help me God.
Hopefully someone from the white house is just trolling us. I don't understand how the white house can have to authority to limit the scope of an investigation. These directives need to come from the DOJ.
The President, not the man and if the MAN gets caught using the agency for his own purposes, its a abuse of power. At this point Mueller probably has had to start a library of Trump abuses of power. A "file" would not possibly get it done.
Please review the Obama Adm.'s DOJ.
