The third article of impeachment of Richard Nixon -- relevant NOW!

Don't worry...they will...when they are ready.

The narrative about the negative impact on the GOP for impeaching Clinton is a false narrative on so many fronts its not even funny.

It might not matter. the Hearings leading up to Impeaching are going to leave DonDon beaten and battered. Could not happen to a nicer guy.

No. They won't impeach. They know better than to go that route.

Whatever narrative you are speaking of that involves Clinton is irrelevant. I've said nothing about such a narrative.

But you are correct about the hearings. THAT...and the damage they can do to Trump by generating anti-Trump propaganda to be spread by the media...is the ONLY thing the Congressional Dems are doing.

Seriously, they don't want to get rid of Trump. They want to prevent him from winning in 2020, which means their guy...no matter how unqualified...will win. All of this "hearings" nonsense is designed to make that happen.

In other words, Trump is doing a blatantly obvious impeachable offense, and loyalty to the party is more to you than to the country?

Mycroft thinks the word impeachable has to do with a fruit that is eatable. In addition, he lives in a mountain alone and has no idea of what loyalty to a country is. His entire world is Debate Politics.

Mycroft, you belong on the CT forum.

Mueller does not need a lawyer, nor is he corrupt, you're smokin' something.

Declinations (exoneration) and prosecutions are functions of scope (of mandate), they are the default objectives in all investigations, to either clear or indict, the target(s). Scope ( of mandate ) has to do with the type of investigation(s) that is being assigned to the SC.

The "mandate" is not about who gets the report, file that in the self-evident truth file. But what of it? To say so is meaningless.

All SC investigations are declinations decisions or prosecution decisions. IN this special case, because an indictment of the prez is not possible, it shifts to declination or roadmap for impeachment by Congress. That was the determination by Mueller. HE did not state it, specifically, but if you read the report, one must ask oneself, "who is this report communicating to?". If it is to the general public, and all of the A) B) C) components of obstruction law, as they relate to each obstruction item described ( and there are many ) this type of detailed description would not be necessary. But, if it were for congress, information the can use to make impeachment determinations, then it makes sense.
Both were provided in volume's 1, and II, respectively.

Declination is an exoneration ( more or less, depending ). This is the default to execute the mandate,i.,e determine if decline or prosecute.

Therefore, to assert "Mueller NEVER had the mission of exonerating Trump", is a pointless statement.

Also, those who assert "the Mueller investigation was a failure", fail to grasp the simple fact that all investigations start with probable cause, then an investigation to determine declination or prosecution.

Either outcome means the investigation was successful.

Those who say "Mueller is out to get Trump", are dullards and do not understand what an investigation is for.

This T-Shirt shows exactly what responding to Mycroft means.

Trump made his own grave. He has done what he has done and he continues to run a lawless and criminal Presidency and Administration. The Dems need the hearings ahead of any effort to Impeach as an immediate effort to Impeach will simply be drowned in a Trumpian tweet storm. Twitter would be the worst thing that ever happened to this country's politics as it feeds the epidemic of dumb this country suffers. But it gets to run neck and neck with facebook.

I don't care a rats behind about the Dems intentions. I only care that the most lawless and criminal Presidency and Administration in modern history is ended by some means other than violence.

Well folks, there you have it. When OscarLevant gets it all wrong...including the meaning of words...the peanut gallery chimes in with "I hate Trump" and "Mycroft is a Trump supporter".

None of them are able to mount a reasoned, logical rebuttal.

Such is the state of DP nowadays.

So it goes...

Kristol was part of the NeoCON cabal at PNAC who pushed for the series of wars that have laid waste to the Middle East.

Kristol’s desire for war with Iran, like a depraved sociopath used his influence in the Bush administration to advance an
agenda for US global domination, enforced by unilateral military interventions.”

Kristol just announced he, George Will, & the fat guy from Red State and the Weekly Standard will all endorse mayor Pete.
I guess he's trying to intrude into Democratic politics now that he's a pundit on MSNBC a requim for those who are
hoping angry that they have zero influence in republican circles & his supposed conservative political magazine went belly up!

I agree very much with your analysis of Kristol. I do not like him for many reasons, but the point he raises is true and accurate.

I have always found Trump to be very much like Nixon, and the longer it goes on, the more apparent it becomes.

Only in what passes for your own mind.

Trumps strategy regarding subpoena's etc. is to stonewall until the 2020 election.

Not a strategy of anyone with nothing to hide.
