This is an interesting thread for two reasons.
A.) The people who bash Bush and voted for Obama are thee same people (for the most part) who voted for John Kerry in 2004. The wealthy aristocrat only matters when there's an "R" next to the name, heh? The only difference, which goes against the left's failed logic, is that Romney didn't marry into his mass wealth, he created it with business savvy. A knowledge that this country could use right about now.
B.) In Bush's first six years in office, he had a record 52 consecutive months of job creation. Compare that to Obama's 43 straight months of unemployment over 8%. Even though the U.S. lost over 1 million jobs 90 days after 9/11, the unemployment rate averaged around 5.3% in those six years. We enjoyed the highest labor productivity gains in 3 decades. After tax income, per-capita, increased 11%, GDP increased 17%, and the deficit was $162 billion by 2007. The numbers drastically declined when the Democrats took control of Congress, yet we're still talking about what Obama inherited when he took office?
The bottom line is that Barry campaigned, and asked for what he "inherited." His policies and ideas of "Hope and Change" promised to cut the deficit in half. Instead, it's on pace to be doubled. He promised millions of new jobs. Instead, he brought a record monthly unemployment rate of above 8%. His fabricated war on women sees unemployment hitting that gender at a higher rate. The same applies for African-Americans. At what point do you wake up?
