The new "Golfer-in-Chief

I cant buy that argument. It wasn't the activity of golf that was Trumps beef, it was Obamas time away from the WH and not working. Trump is learning why that time away was so important to Obama and is actually doing more of it.

Like I said, did not complain about Obama's golfing. But how can you extrapolate one month in office versus eight years. Seems like a petty argument from both Trump & you.

I don't think anyone is shocked when a politician takes a hypocritical shot at an opponent, not sure (but can guess) what your motive is.

I don't think it's appropriate for the President, whose first days aren't going well, to take a vacation out of state every weekend to go golfing. That is a bit much. Especially since it's on the taxpayer's dime, and it's very expensive (Air Force One, Secret Service). He didn't contribute to it, since he didn't pay taxes. Only "the little people" pay for it. (Soon it will be a golfing week in Scotland...on our dime.)

When I was assigned to a big case at work, I had to work six long days a week, and part of the time seven days a week. And my job was, I assume, not as relevant to the country as being President. I expect him to be reading the intelligence briefings daily, to be studying on foreign leaders and the histories of countries and issues in the world, and to be speaking with economists so he can learn about the economy (he had asked a foreign policy cabinet member whether the dollar being strong or weak was good for the economy, and the cabinet member had to tell him that he needed to ask an economist that, since the cabinet man's expertise was foreign policy or whatever). Trump has a lot to learn about governing. It's not the same as running a business. He's not the boss of everyone. He's the leader of an important team in a group of teams.

I don't agree with Trumps four day DC workweeks, or his dual residences in NY and FL. What I meant was his choice of recreational activities is of little concern to me.

As a former DC'er, I think the Trump WH is a dysfunctional mess and he has yet to make the transition from campaigner to leader. Govt. cannot be run like a business and he is already finding that out.

After all the whining about Obama's golfing, the new POTUS has elapsed Obamas three month golfing excursions in a mere 33 days.

I didn't care about Obama golfing. I didn't care about Bush golfing. I don't care about Trump golfing. But yes, I do get your point about hypocrisy. Both sides have shown it for the last 17 years.

My point was to illustrate out that while criticizing Obamas golf playing, Trump has already done more of it. As such, he seems to either forget previous remarks or simply not care.

I thought he campaigned on how much work he was going to do and how much time he was going to put in with his outstanding stamina. I guess he just skipped the part about working only 4 days a week so he could play golf. Suckers!

Oh he did...but what do you expect from the so-called president, lying, liar l'll donny.

“I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf,” l'll donny said on Aug. 8 in Virginia.

Yea Trump has made fools of us again. He also claimed he would "rarely leave the Whitehouse" because he would have so much to do. He took 3 vacations in the first 3 weeks. LOL

Real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump (R) says he wouldn’t get out much if he wins the Oval Office next year.

“I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” Trump, 69, tells ITK. "I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off.”

“You don’t have time to take time off,” Trump adds.

We caught up with the “Celebrity Apprentice” star at the Tuesday opening of a new championship golf course at his Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va.

Never in a million years did I believe that the true Conservatives would ever support him. Obviously, they don't practice what they preach.

What GOPs will tell you about their vote is they put party above America.

While all the time lying that they're all in for America First .

Nixon is probably looking at Trumps involvement with Russia and thinking "Darn Rookie".

P.T. Barnum is looking at the EC total and thinking "Told ya!".
