I already have as have others, and it is basically the same thing just about everyone else with an IQ above their shoe size has confirmed. There was a surplus for the named years, it is unfortunate you cannot accept facts.

If you want to believe there was a surplus then that just goes to show how poorly informed you are, if there was a surplus the debt would be reduced and it wasn't, it grew 1.4 trillion dollars. What is it about liberalism that creates this kind of loyalty?
Any reduction in deficit held by the public was offset by the increase in deficit in inter-government holdings thus an increase in the total debt
