The mindless, meaningless, not insulting but really stupid thread response.

Laundry going. Time for shower. Noticed the bathtub drain seemed slow but I had just placed one of those fancy drain screens so thought, "Oh, it's just that screen." After showering, with about two inches of water sitting in the tub, removed that new screen and...nothing. No draining! Used the plunger, sounded completely stopped up. Got out the hair remover thingy, wouldn't even go in. Since the washer is in that bathroom and uses a common drain as the tub, I thought maybe there was a problem there. Nope, washer is draining fine. Sink is fine, toilet flushes fine. Am thinking, "Crap, now I have to get the plumber out here. How long will that take?"

Then I noticed the tub stopper was closed.

Monday morning, a very teed-off jeweler phoned Lil Johnny.
"There's no money in that account."
"I know", said Lil Johnny, "but can you imagine the weekend I had?"

I know it's a joke. But these types of things do also occur in the real world. I'd normally feel bad for the jeweler and the girl who was to be the recipient of the ring. But I mostly only feel bad for the jeweler, especially if the girl was the type who would have no problem taking insanely expensive gifts from guys who they know cannot afford them, with little or no concern for the profoundly negative impact it'll have on him. Some of them would have no problem breaking up with him soon after, for no legit reason, and keeping the ring.

TO RENT, LEASE OR PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE, EV OR GAS?

I suppose adding up the # of vehicles one owned the last 50 years,
maybe 20 or so, then asking ones-self, When adding up just the purchase
prices of those vehicles, did they run around the value of the home you live in?
Say around + - / $200,000 / $300,000 +?

Do I change my behavior, or do I want a new-one, more? Say 1/4 the value of your home?

Maybe some just take the Metro Link to the Airport and fly someplace cool if they want to travel some?
No insurance/fuel/parking/car payment/property taxes/license/pollution test bills either. There are
cool places to stay near the airport too. My regional airport is within 10 miles of me.

Should I change my lifestyle to be cool? Mmmmm, I never met a wealthy person in their Rolls.
They fly past all the time in their Leased Jets ! Mmmm, Can I change? Can I select a sedentary daily
life and weekend Jet setter way? Would I feel like mud at the riverbank or the fast waters flow.

Should I trust the FAA to lead my way thru the friendly skies?
 
 
I would guess that Rob doesn't really know what he's talking about when it comes to childhood disease preventions.


I sure hope he can't sleep well at nights! People should be good to decide what they want to do about their health, and their kids.
To a Certain point, then other kids may come into risk. Sure, hope he gets off his dead ass and puts Texas on the go plan for kids.

I will always remember the first time I heard this tune. I was cruising the 401 in Southern Ontario listening to a Detroit station. I near drove off the road. It was a week before I was able to learn the name of the band.

It was like I'd heard the guitar solo in a dream and was re-remembering it. Damn near drove off the road.
