The reason the trend starts is because we do not talk about it. Teens are left with the feeling that they alone are having those depressive thoughts that lead to suicide. It is a subject that does need to be brought out into the light because the subject is avoided.
That you found it boring means it has no relevance to you not that it is not relevant to others.

I think we expect too much of kids these days. Parents can be relentless, especially when it comes to sports or even academics. The pressure to succeed is everywhere. Pressure that anyone my age(29) didn't have going through school. We're really the first generation of parents or will be parents that have to deal with never ending pressure on kids and a lot of us don't know how to address it because it's never happened.

It's a textbook double standard. We're not allowed to complain about some of the gravest injustices on the planet, but by golly, if Netflix takes away their constitutional right to a 4-star rating system, then they must raise all hell!

It could be. A person could dress in black, put on a mask, and firebomb their headquarters if I really wanted to emulate snowflakes. Here I'm talking about a rating system that has degraded the ability to find now quality shows. I don't have cable or satellite TV so Netflix is one of the main sources of entertainment as it's cheap and I don't have a lot of spare $$ laying around.

A snowflake would be people like Schumer complaining about trolls possibly giving her lower ratings.

I've never seen Schumer. I have no idea what her comedy is. She basically doesn't exist in my world. It's not that I've avoided her, it's just that I'm not one for Hollywood or celebrities. It amazes me that someone who I know nothing about somehow manages to trigger people. Maybe I'm just old and disconnected, but I couldn't care less about Schumer and whatever act (or complaints) she has.

I think a Snowflake is someone complaining about about a no-name comedian as if it matters to anyone. I'm sorry if she triggers you. I'm sorry if she hurts your feelings and disturbs your world. Maybe you should walk it off and rub some dirt on it, because it just looks like whiny crap about nothing to me.

Seriously, how is crying about Netflix and some comedian, and using that as a launching pad for a rant about political opponents not Snowflake? It's crybaby BS.
