Oh, leftists are "entitlement minded", sure they are. They feel entitled to equality under the law, in policing, employment and education, entitled to affordable healthcare and housing and entitled to life without agents of the state killing them.
But the right has its own entitlement mindedness, don't they? The conservatives feel entitled to public order, and by any means. And, they feel hypocritically entitled to the usury and classism that causes order to break down in the first place. They feel entitled to exploit humanity and the earth to whatever degree their cunning and greed can aspire. They feel entitled to the bodies of women and to wash their hands of the results.
When we're talking entitlement, the right are the OGs of declaring themselves entitled. With god smiling down upon their amoral industriousness, they have commodified everything and everyone. That's what slavery was- the commodification of people- and though the institution was "abolished" in name, in principle it never left. The dollar sign remains the beating heart of conservative philosophy. And what conservatives secretly know is that every game has to have a loser. In the case of the United States, black people were an awesome choice to fill that role.
These riots are about real **** and Trump is a jackass. If all they do is burn buildings, it is out of a superior grace.
