Steve Pearce MVP.
Steve Pearce MVP.
Nope, it is David Price...
Lots of Red Sox fans at Dodger Stadium. Apparently finally able to afford seats and get time off from their food service and janitorial jobs.
As someone that has lived in the west coast the majority of my life, I will admit fans of the east coast - particularly cities like Ohio, New York, and Boston are more passionate about their teams that fans of the team in cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, San Francisco etc..
I respect them for that. Again, they are not the most intelligent fans, but they have a deeper connection with their teams than most west coast fans.
Kershaw's last inning as a Dodger.

Congratulations Red Sox, wonder how noisy it is in Boston right now. :lamo
Ahem. No one who calls Ohio a city should condescend to any other fans.
IDK what the Dodgers record during the year was against lefties, but against the Sox and all of their lefties the Dodgers looked about as lost as a team could look.
There is no doubt the Red Sox were the best team in baseball this year, but in a couple of the games them and their lefties made it look easy against the Dodgers. Game 3 will go down as 1 of the all-time WS classics though.
Baseball is not a sport where teams go undefeated or sweep series after series. They win 2 of 3 consistently.
Very satisfying Series for me since Martinez and Price got their rings and its the best a Tiger fan can hope for. J D led all Boston players in postseason batting average and Price really performed on the mound in the Series.
I loved it.
Ehh it was a fairly boring series between the 2 highest payroll teams in baseball
“I went back to Ohio,
But my city was gone.”
Maybe he misunderstood that song.
