They have owned everyone since Labor Day.
 
Dodgers certainly made it interesting at the end. Losing 6-5 is nothing to be ashamed of. This will probably be a hell of a series.
 
No idea why Julio Urias is pitching. He's a young kid coming off shoulder surgery. Big mistake.
 
Brewers! 3-2 after 7.
 
Dodgers! 4-3; one out bottom 8.
 
Red Sox do not match up well with the Astros.

If Chris Sale cannot outpitch Verlander, no way Eovaldi and Porcello can match the Astros starters.

If the 'stros pitching can silence those BoSox bats, they will have impressed me. That is for sure.
 
Uncharacteristic control issues by JV gives Boston 2 runs on a wild pitch and bases loaded walk.

Impressive sure but not surprising. The Yankees #1 starter would be the #4 starter on the Astros.
 
We will see how the Astros closer, the wife beater pitches in the playoffs.
 
The Red Sox have no bridge to get to their closer.

Chris Sale looks hurt. This could be a 4-0 or 3-1 series.

And David Price is starting tomorrow? Yikes.
 
Okay, I admit the Astros are really good and will likely wipe the floor with the Dodgers/Brewers.

Luckily for me, the Astros window closes very soon:

Justin Verlander, Free agent 2020

They might make the playoffs next year. By 2020, they will be completely reliant on hitting as Alex Bregman, if they want to keep him, could be the highest paid player in MLB. Correa will want an extension too.

baseball is a funny game so it wouldn't surprise me if Price outpitches Gerrit Cole tonight. That being said, even if the Red Sox win, they will not win this series.

At this point, you cannot blame David Price. Alex Cora should have his head examined for putting Price in the start instead of Porcello.
 
At this point Price needs to be moved to the pen. He's starting to hurt his team now.
The only reason why Sox might win tonight is because of their strong offense

lol. Price only pitched 4.2 innings so the winless streak continues as a starter.

Posting commentary to stay awake.....that 10% alcohol beer is taking its toll.
Guerra looking a little wobbly, one out Machado on 1st.....pop-up to 3rd base....2 outs....Machado to second on WP.....nearly picked off.....Bellinger base hit wins it for LA......zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
