This ACT, of stepping away, has done more to allow the likely future EXTINCTION of the Republican party as anything Trump or a right winger could. There is no longer ANY good reason not to exterminate the party. Sure we have to be careful with Romney, perhaps a few others. But by and large, we face the moral equivalent of zombies. They have nothing to contribute to their community or country. All Reagans axioms are defunct. Trump is a PROFANE booster of religion. Almost the entirety of right wingers have congregated into EVANGELICAL political association, with Jesus having cleared out years ago.

There literally is no reason left to show any mercy. Democrats have learned to temper themselves. And, we have the RINOS and nevertrumpers to help us not to stray.

The values and morals of Conservatism will continue to exist, and we hope for a brighter day when they can again be honored as half the common good. WE liberals and progressives, DEMOCRATS mean no harm to TRUE conservatives.

If a right-wing poster here said anything similar, but replaced "Republican" and "Conservative" with "Democrats", I have little doubt that you would take what he said as an implied threat and call to violence. An empty, puffed-up threat, but a threat nonetheless.

If after witnessing what Trump has done, one still votes for them, they are voting for evil.
The first time, most people could be excused because they merely ignored warnings, that's common to both good people and bad.
This is not 2016 and Trump is now a known quantity...a known quantity that most former Republicans agree will use the Putin playbook to remain in power indefinitely and establish a dynasty if he wins again.
