Teen Taken at U.S. Border Tells of ‘Icebox’ Cages With 60 Girls

Wonder how many of the kids the parents had to drag kicking and screaming across the border illegally, Or just maybe they voluntarily followed their parents.

In the end the parents are responsible for the predictiment the children are in. No illegal entry, no separation. Problem solved.

In the end WE are responsible for how they're treated once they're here.

Zero tolerance applies to those breaking the law. Entering at a port of entry and claiming asylum is not breaking the law. Perhaps the reporter did not have his facts straight. Not saying a reporter would make up a story, just that perhaps he did not have his facts straight.

I think you need to get the facts straight. There was no distinction made between those seeking asylum at Ports of Entry and border hoppers.

Federal court ends indefinite and arbitrary ICE detention for asylum seekers

Court Blocks Trump Administration From Blanket Detention of Asylum Seekers

From you link:

detaining all immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border

It did not say detaining immigrants presenting themselves at a port of entry but all immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border.

Not sure what's more deplorable: The conditions you describe, or some people's dehumanizing support of those conditions.

This is America. Don't catch you slippin' up.

Stop trying to sound hip by quoting a ****ty song's lyrics.

Why aluminum blankets? They don't make sense to me.

I can't help but think the people running such centers really don't care about the kids. At least they could turn the A.C. down. These people sound like they enjoy the work too much IMO. It doesn't sound like the government or bad laws are forcing their hands, and they are unwilling government workers.

Kelly Anne said it's like a summer camp. I would like to see her send her kids there for some summer fun.

Says the person who deliberately turns a blind eye to how children are being treated.

Says the person that turned a blind eye when the president he liked was doing it.

Willing participants.

between being a constant target of MS13 or seeking asylum in the USA, the parents made a very sound, adult decision
unfortunately, tRump and jefferson sessions did not

What should the US govt do for US citizens threated by gangs in the US. Should the govt help them relocate?

Maybe their parents shouldnt have brought their kids along when they decided to enter our country illegally. And who ever heard of air conditioning...in south Texas...in July?

Do you support punishing kids for their parent's crimes?

Let me try to understand this.

The woman leaves her country because she doesn't want to pay the "rent" on her small business.

She doesn't just close the business and go somewhere else, she flees the country.

Where does she go?

She goes to the other country that has the MS-13 gang.

What did she hope to accomplish with this?

They are not aluminum blankets, they are "space" blankets like people keep in the trunk of their car during winter in case they get stranded.

Ms-13 is in the country she was fleeing from, I am not aware of the gang being in the United States.

Oh, and there is this other thing you left out: it was the ms-13 gang demanding that she pay a rent of 300 dollars per month.

The reason why she fled: she didn’t have the money and the gang was threatening that they would kill her if she didn’t pay up.

Is the country that small that there was nowhere she could go?

Where did you get the idea it was dollars they were asking for?

Also, you don't know about MS-13 in the US? Where have you been for the last year or so?

I am opposed to separating parents who commit crimes from the children who don't. That said it is time we open the cell doors of prisons and let those convicted felons with families out.

Now before you protest saying this would let a lot of dangerous people onto the streets of the U.S. remember that is exactly what the left wants to do with their open borders policy.

I sincerely believe we should eliminate all law enforcement agencies in this nation. If the left has no problem eliminating ICE than surely they can have no problem eliminating all other law enforcement agencies. In support of this "plan" I submit that the Dept. of Justice has already proven they cannot be trusted just look at the conduct of Peter Strozk[er], Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr... The mere fact that the Dept. of Justice exists caused those persons to commit crimes.

We need open borders. Not only would people flood in to do the jobs Americans won't but all those drugs coming in would lower the prices on the street. Why should someone in Colorado pay a high tax on Marijuana when a high volume will be flowing into this nation across our Southern border enabling them to purchase it from a street dealer for a greatly reduced price.

Do you support punishing kids for their parent's crimes?

Do you support the death penalty for children whose only crime is being in the womb?
