Teen Crushed by Van Seat Dies

I find this post incredibly disgusting and in poor taste-I attended that school at one point and have had family members on the board. The 911 operator screwed up. Trying to use the death of this outstanding young student for more of your trolling is pathetic.

Maybe you should use your supposed considerable clout in the area to do something about this:

"Cincinnati.com reported the 911 center has had problems regarding staffing, training and technology. The city’s 911 center has had five directors in the past four years and its budget was cut $400,000 since 2016. Records showed the center needed 17 dispatchers and 15 operators, the paper reported."

The **** they don't.

THE PHONE CALL WAS IMPROPERLY HANDLED...

That ain't a tax problem. It's an effing people problem.

It's right there in the op:

Except there we don't know if that was the problem:

During Plush’s first phone call to 911, he told the dispatcher to tell his mom he loved her if he died.n“I’m going to die here,” the teenager told the dispatcher. “I probably don’t have much time left. Tell my mom I love her if I die.” Plush suffocated after he became trapped under the third-row seat that flipped and pinned him while he was trying to reach his tennis equipment. The teenager told 911 operators where he was located but authorities were not able to find him. Police said Amber Smith, the 911 operator who answered Plush’s second call, failed to relay information to the additional officers who were at the scene. During the call, Plush explained to Smith the call was not a joke. . . . . We don't know if it's defective hardware/software, a computer freezing, or this person being incompetent. It also has nothing to do with Trump because as you say, the cut was in 2016.

And again, it's still this kid died so **** you!

Are you honestly not able to make the connection? No money = poor hiring choices.

That Libertarians think you can hire competent people for $12 an hour and no benefits will never cease to amaze me.

I moved out of that City almost thirty years ago because the people who fund the city with their taxes had little say. Cincinnati has been dominated by the Democrats for at least 40 years. They hold a majority on council and have had the mayor's office for decades. Most of the highest income tax payers in Cincinnati have no say in the elections because they live outside the voting limits of the city but the city still taxes their incomes. that includes the top executives at places like Proctor and God, Kroger, US Bank, etc.

Its bad enough you use the deaths of kids in massacres to troll gun owners but this is a sick and new low for your frantic baiting.

Libertarians hold no offices in Cincinnati. ITS RUN BY YOUR BELOVED DEMOCRATS. Stop blaming people who have NOTHING to do with this screw up

And, you still fail to make the logical connection that "the 911 center has had problems regarding staffing, training and technology," had to have played a significant role in this happening.

Libertarians are always dreaming of the day no government agencies exist. Well, there ya go.

I hope you send flowers.

WAVE THE BLOODY SHIRT A LITTLE MORE....

You don't give a damn about the child or his family beyond what political jabs you can make of their tragedy...

Cry me a river. This is a political debating forum. Maybe you should go find a safe space if the conversation is too much for you.

All cases of someone exploiting a child's death for political purposes will be called out.

And yours was pathetic.

Some take the high road... Those are the people you see far, far above you.

And, you still fail to make the logical connection that "the 911 center has had problems regarding staffing, training and technology," had to have played a significant role in this happening.

Either the computer froze or she decided not to tell the police about where someone said that they are dying.

I would not call that a "training" problem.

Prove to me the call was mishandled DUE TO FUNDING.

Read the article. Incompetent operators, poor technology. Seems like a slam dunk to me.

I would not call that a "training" problem.

Or she was fielding 15 calls through one line, and the computer is something they've been using since 1986. Think.

THIS EVENT... Can you prove the mishandled call WAS DUE TO FUNDING or not?
Read the article. Form your own conclusion. Be an adult.

My conclusion from the article is that yes, lack of funding, incompetent operators due to shortages in hiring, and improperly dated technology is exactly why this boy is dead.

Citation for either claim?

Read the article and two others. Show me where FUNDING caused this incident.

Three times it is.

"Cincinnati.com reported the 911 center has had problems regarding staffing, training and technology. Are you going to ask for a fourth time now?

Libertarians really just do not get it. ****ing amazing.

Still no citation for the FUNDING causing the incident...

FUNDING...

FUNDING the DEMOCRATS approved.
