The teenager told 911 operators where he was located but authorities were not able to find him. Police said Amber Smith, the 911 operator who answered Plush’s second call, failed to relay information to the additional officers who were at the scene.

You'd have an argument if budget cuts in the locality had meant that they couldn't replace an ambulance, therefore their respond time was down, therefore someone who probably would've lived died. Or for example, the lady who died in the ambulance stuck in traffic on the NY-NJ bridge after Christie's cronies shut down a lane? Wasn't intentional but sure there's a link to responsibility.

The operator claims computer malfunction, yes, but I don't think that is out yet. Further, given how procurement generally works (slowly, crappily, expensively), it's unlikely that whatever malfunctioned was even purchased under Trump. Also, note the deficit and projected deficits, even in states too. Libertarians aren't getting very much say.

I see that they slashed the budget in 2016, but there's no clear link to this specific 911 operator. It's not that he couldn't reach them or they didn't have resources to send. It was either a computer glitch or incompetence. The article doesn't mention needing more computers. More operators and dispatchers are needed.

It sounds like an accident combined with human error, I somehow doubt more medical staff could cure human error on the dispatchers part, nor how trump libertarians aliens the russians cubans klingons etc could be responsible. It sounds like the van manufacturor should investigate and maybe issue a voluntary recall if reason was found it was dangerous y design rather than a 1 in a million freak accident, but trying to play the blame game is indeed very low especially when no politics were ever at play here.

I find this post incredibly disgusting and in poor taste-I attended that school at one point and have had family members on the board. The 911 operator screwed up. Trying to use the death of this outstanding young student for more of your trolling is pathetic.
