Teacher Sues School District for Firing Him Over His Use of a Trans Pronoun.

So times were better for blacks back then? Really?

The black family unit was better off. And this was the discussion were were having as it pertains to the 50s. Yes, some things were worse then, like the Cold War, blacks not yet having equal legal rights.

yet he didn't. so have a nice day with your whatever this is.
did you read the 1st amendment yet.

because the school violated this man's rights and they are in trouble.
courts have ruled time and time again that the government cannot compel speech or
control speech even speech they find icky.
Stupid speech has stupid consequences
Would’ve thought you figured that out by now

Yes they can. How can you get this so wrong?

No access to white establishments
Inability to use white restrooms and drinking fountains
Forced to attend segregated and much inferior schools
Firm restrictions placed on occupations especially those where white people were commonly employed
Inability to vote for the politicians of their choice
No access to credit
Restricted from buying property in white occupied communities
Inability to marry across racial lines
What was not to love for a black person in the 50s? They had it so much better then

there wasn't stupid speech i thought you would have figured this out by now.
The government cannot compel him to call someone something they are not.

that is why the first amendment exists.

Ergo, I said blacks did not have full legal rights then. Pay attention before you blab.

Actually the teachers employer can direct him in the manner in which he is to address the students
He can choose not to address his students in that prescribed matter but he will likely face a severe consequence for his failure to abide by his employers expectations
None of this is affected by first amendment rights

You said the black family unit was better off in the 50s
Having lived in the south during that time I wanted to assure you that that is not the case

I said it in terms of staying together as a family. Marriage rates were higher for blacks back then.

Yeah, now the left is lynching Christians.

I recently came back from a museum dedicated to all those lynched during the civil rights movement.

You see I was talking about real people being killed....not you having your feelings hurt

Ask the 9-11 victims' families if Christians are being killed.

I lost two friends in the towers. Their families will never say Christian's were targeted.

There is an irony here. People shrieking about others being 'triggered'...consider. Person A demands Person B refer to them by a fantasy pronoun based not on reality but how they feel. Person B with no disrespect or upset, refuses to engage in the fantasy and calls person a by their ACTUAL pronoun...scientifically derived by their actual genetics and DNA. Person A freaks out.

Now be honest...who is it that is triggered?

You can call yourself whatever you want...but no one has an obligation to call you want you want them to call you.

actually it is. the government cannot compel speech. this has been ruled on multiple times by multiple courts.
they were also his religious views were violated as well. yet something else the government cannot do.

this is why i pointed you to the 1st amendment. you obviously still do not understand the 1st amendment so there is
no point in continuing this. he is going to win his lawsuit. it will probably go to the SCOTUS but he will end up winning.
