If someone isnt smart enough to understand that then there is no value in having a real conversation about any of this in the first place. There is simply no way a 13 year can relate on the same emotional scale and perspective that an adult is capable of relating and it is ALWAYS exploitative and manipulative. You can think about the developing brain in a logic/problem solving progression from a Tic Tac Toe brain to a Checkers brain to a chess brain. Children employ tic tac toe thinking. Adolescents typically use checkers thinking. Adults are capable (though dont always use) chess thought processes...using long term decision making and consequences.

There is a 'natural order' involving 'consensual' sexual abuse between an adult and a minor. Again...it is all destructive, but in certain cases seen as less so

Female on female...if seen as a 'supportive' sapphic loving...still wrong but can be not devastating.
Adult male on female..if seen as 'supportive' is 'natural' in that male female relationships are natural and often the men stoke the ego of the victim by elevating them to an adult status.
Adult female on male...if seen as supportive is also 'natural' in that male female relationships are natural and often the boys stoke their own ego elevating them to an adult status. Its often (not always) accompanied by a 'story' from the female perpetrator implying she is a victim in other relationships, further stoking the ego of the victim as they see themselves as a savior.
Adult male on male...tricky...depending on whether or not the victim has demonstrated and accepted homosexual ideation, in which case the above can apply. But if not, it is devastating and creates massive damage to the ego and identity of the victim, often resulting in future instances of varying forms of inappropriate behaviors.

All bets are off when the manipulation is done by violence, force, and/or coercion.

SO I hope that answers your question, but if your question was SPECIFICALLY asked...it would be more impactful...What if it was a male teacher having sex with YOUR male 13 year old. (or daughter for that matter)...but even then you would probably only get an honest answer from those that actually have kids that might be in that situation.

There may very well be some young girls who are not "victims" in these situations. But, I suspect there are a lot more boys who would jump at the chance to bang hot teacher than there are girls with that mindset.

Granted, I understand the law does not allow for any teen under age of 16 or so to consent to sex. But, I bet the house most boys at 14 or so would argue that law should not apply to them.

There are 10 year olds, even 8 year olds who would make that argument. There are plenty below 16 who would argue that the drinking law shouldn't apply to them. Does that mean that they are capable of making a properly informed consensual decision?

People who do not care about what is morally right and do not believe God tend to advocate for things which are very bad even though they do not understand why those things are bad. Obama did not think it was bad to appoint a homosexual advocate to administer the sex education needs of American school kids, but both Obama and Kevin Jennings were bad news for that. Jennings is a pervert who supports the NAMBLA advocacy for legalizing sex between men and boys. The NAMBLA perverts do not see themselves as perverts. Obama did not see graphic homosexual sex instruction as a bad thing to force onto kids in American schools, but it is a very bad thing.

As a son of European immigrants, I grew up being allowed to drink at 16, it was 14 IIRC. So, that argument falls flat.

Sex was not frowned upon in my household either. I believe I was "educated" on safe sexual practices by age 14, and bringing girls home for sex by 16. For some strange reason my parents were pretty ant-gay tho. I never could reconcile that.

That is one of the other hypocritical view. That as the victim, the boy would have to pay child support. It has happened already. There is the complaint that women should not have to suffer reminders of their rape for 18+ years, but for some reason, who cares if a male has to suffer that long for something not his fault?

Yes. The men are adults and can provide actual informed consent. A 13 year old cannot. I won't slut shame. Have as many lovers as you want as long as you are being safe (to include STI transmission reductions efforts), and don't lie about your activities to other you are involved in.
