Teacher has sex with 13 year old boy

With a male teacher and a girl it is more of a predatory act in my view.

The law says differently insofar as the age of consent for both boys and girls is the same. You show a bias in your belief that a man attracted to a teenage girl is more predatory than a woman who finds a boy teen to be a hottie.

A couple of things struck me about this story and one of them is the personality of the boy's father. He is a foul-mouthed bully no longer living with the boy's mother. Had he not confronted his son after spying on him, this might have gone easier for the boy and his teacher. The kid was probably scared of the hairy oaf. Who knows what goes on in that home.

Secondly, at age 13 this boy was old to be in the 6th grade who are mostly 11 or just turning 12. So, we have a boy who has been retained at least once and might have had a learning disability. He might be a boy abused at home by a controlling bully of a father and having academic problems too. Perhaps his teacher saw the boy's vulnerability and was taken in by a lad who was socially and sexually precocious. See those many love notes.

Considering how it takes two to tango, especially when teenage hormones begin to rage, 20 years is excessive for helping a teenage boy have a jolly time now and again.

13 is seventh or even 8th grade. It’s young. Sure. But I doubt he complained.

Most 13 year old boys are already in the 8th grade so he is definitely delayed. School was probably a pain for him except he had a teacher who showed a personal interest in him.

Aside, from any bias that might be present from your current self, you could well be the exception to the rule and most boys would actually be traumatized.

In this thread we can see numerous examples of the fact that rape culture in America primarily targets men.

We see the trivialization playing out in spades in this thread. Things have gotten better, but there is a long way to go. What most of you probably don't know is that academic feminism is complicit in the dismissal of male rape victims, defining them out of existence almost entirely. In all of the rape statistics that you read, being "made to penetrate" is not considered rape. If you want to know why, listen to the horse's mouth.

Reading on the case, she had a series of felonies, everything from sexual molestation to passing porn (nude selfies) with a minor. Twenty year sentence but I suspect she is out in 5 years.
 
I agree to resort to the law of large numbers for the sake of equality and equal protection of the laws. How many women complain they cannot get enough sex versus how many guys?

Women should be held responsible for the teaching of males about sex due to their absolute advantage when it comes to sex.

The public policy goal is to reduce or eliminate any male urge to rape in anger versus role playing fun.

There may very well be some young girls who are not "victims" in these situations. But, I suspect there are a lot more boys who would jump at the chance to bang hot teacher than there are girls with that mindset.

Granted, I understand the law does not allow for any teen under age of 16 or so to consent to sex. But, I bet the house most boys at 14 or so would argue that law should not apply to them.
