I saw an interview with that guy. First he's a big time stoner. 2nd, he was yelling between the two cops (not at the cops) at some guy that had previously roughed up some girl. Yes, surprisingly, the media spun it in to something it wasn;'t.

Where are all of these phantom bad white people? You would think this is the perfect time to strike.

I do think racism will rise sharply after this not so well thought through BLM moment. Unfortunately, It's a bunch of "woke" white people that are causing most of the problems and bringing more hate onto the black people.

yet there is no evidence on the thread of such hate-so far. And the fact remains-blacks-for whatever reason-are far more likely to have confrontations with the police-something like 1 in 3 of black males over the age of 40 have felony records.

More evidence that the "Black" version of "BLM" has some serious validity to its position.

When a "mirror" study of the ratio of Police killed by "Blacks" is finally done, I strongly suspect that it will show that the "Blue" version of "BLM" has some serious validity to its position.

Is there any possibility that the REAL problem is simply that the percentage of people who feel that killing others isn't something that they shouldn't do?

That's incredibly low given how much violent crime they commit, and how many encounters with police they have compared to whites.

Really doesn't even remotely skew the numbers very much, considering how over-represented they are. Not to mention how hard it is to actually get real numbers on such a thing - given that blacks tend to be more the focus of efforts to identify wrongful convictions, that itself skews the numbers/likelihood-stats some back the other way anyway.

The fact that largely black communities tend to be dens of violence, shootings, and gangs, accounts for the very real over-representation of blacks in murder, violent crime, etc., stats.

Things weren't bad. They're about to get bad. You had the citizens of this country at George Floyd and then you had to go burn buildings, and loot, and tear down statues without authorization. Do you see how things went bad?

Destroying Confederate monuments is good. Best to do it legally, of course.

I have heard is stated on news programs several times, unchallenged that : If pre-capita of police contact is factored in than Whites are more likely to be killed. Because Blacks commit more crime they have a lot more contact with police. Also Black and Hispanic cops are far more likely to shoot than White cops.

That's because white people make up the largest percentage of the population. What the study is saying is that there is a disproportion in the number of black people being killed by the police.

Yes, because it was mainly a war in the interests of the plantation elites who were at the top of Southern society, in order to defend their economic and political interests.

In some states, 40% of households owned slaves. That's not only the rich. That's the middle class.

Those who didn't own slaves still relied on slaves to keep down the price of food and essential goods. If it wasn't for the labor extorted from slaves, the poor people that didn't own slaves couldn't have afforded to eat.

Sure, slaves brought fortune to households that owned them, but they also brought affordable food to the tables of the poor.

All of the confederates, rich middle and poor, relied on slaves for their livelihood.
