Maybe he was working on a particular report where those numbers were relevant. Who cares? Changing racial demographics often motivate hate groups, particularly white nationalist populists. The SPLC tracks hate groups. So it makes sense information relevant to the work SPLC does would appear in SPLC offices. You don't work for an organization where that data is relevant, so it makes sense that such information would not be on your wall. I'm sorry, but I really don't see any issue here.

How would you feel about the NRA keeping track of the Muslim population?

Are you saying you dont care about the different culture, just their color? Because all those immigrants brought their own cultures and traditions to merge with ours.

Well, it's not the experience of the older (or younger) white Christians in my family, male or female. Maybe you should look at your personal influences or the specific media that you choose to read/hear. For example, someone that watches Fox News isnt going to get a very even-handed view of race in America.

And btw, they run the range thru Dem and Repub.

Wow, not sure where you are living but that's pretty much what we have. If you have a problem with transporting local products elsewhere, good luck having the producers of those products agreeing with your vision.

And as for all the same values, I see the secular life all around us very cohesive and if there are extremists in a religion, including Christians, that want their own place, well, like the Orthodox Jews and the Amish, maybe they can create those places for themselves. Feel free to try. I dont think there would be much traction.

Authentic American culture is based on the DOI...'all men are created equal.' If that's the case, I see no reason to reject some of those 'men' because of differences in food, dress, etc. The basic morals of all cultures are the same and our Constitution takes care of leveling that playing field. That diversity is exactly what provided invention, innovation, adaptation, and incredible variety to the US and contributed to our success as a nation.

I am all for diversity and so are many other Americans who dont fear people that are different. I dont need to see 'people who look like me' around me to feel comfortable. (I hope to be invited in and fed. It seems most other cultures have much more interesting food than "that of my people"...the Brits and Germans.)

They do encourage doing "the Lord's Work" and diminish worldly goods. They dont care how or where you are living, just as long as you serve the Lord.

They consider poverty a virtue...("vows of poverty and chasitity" are all so that there are fewer distractions between serving Him and daily life.)
