Sorry, but Trump Junior did break the law!

Again, this is a nothing-burger. Donald Trump jr was a low-man in the Trump campaign. Does anyone have any proof that Trump jr was anyone of power or influence in his father's campaign?

I agree with this.

But what makes you think Jr., Flynn, Manaforte, Kushner, et al, did not intentionally omit these meetings. It would seem if it was important enough for the top 3 campaign officers to break-off their day, during an extremely critical time, it would be remembered. No?

Were all of them required to report it? Manaforte was gone before the election and Jr isn't part of the administration so I don't think either of those had a duty to report anything. Flynn, to the best of my knowledge wasn't involved in this and Kushner, I believe, did report it on an amended SF-86.

Donald Trump Jr. might have violated campaign finance law, experts say - Business Insider
People on the right keep saying that Trump Junior did not break a law, but he actually did. When he filled out the federal form for getting his security clearance, he failed to mention the meeting with the Russian who in his emails says is an agent of the Russian Government. Failure to provide that information violates the law, as stated on the form. He can be jailed for up to 5 years for such a violation.
He has also violated campaign laws as stated in the article above. Soliciting campaign contributions from a foreign government violates those laws. Contributions don't need to be just money, they include anything of worth including information.

Why am i coming down with a bad case of "So What?"

He may or may not be guilty of breaking the law. What he is guilty of is lying about the original intent of the meeting. Then again, lying must be a strong gene in the Trump families DNA.

It is interesting in a technical way to look into the questions concerning direct and intermediated foreign contacts of politicians and campaign executives, generally helpful information from foreign sources weighed against information thought to show possible illegal behavior by a presidential candidate and whether such information should fall under the category of a 'contribution'. It sounds more the kind of stuff of USSC decisions and legislation and therefore less of criminal investigators.

What it certainly is, is excellent ammunition for slander and conspiracy theorising.

He had to as the press was about to do so. He wanted to get ahead of the game.

You do realize that Manafort and Kushner also attended the meeting.

I don't believe anything currently being said in the media about Donald Trump Jr.

Of course you don't you are a Trumpster. You do have to believe what DTJ has said and what his emails say, or do you think he gave the FBI "fake" emails that might have incriminated himself? I bet you only believe what Trump and Fox News tells you to believe.

To the best of my knowledge:

Two of the three (Kushner & Jr.) were required to report, and failed to do so. Kushner recently amended under duress due to his upcomming House and Senate hearings, and I have no idea if Jr. ammended at all. What is clear and troubling to me, is neither individual reported the meetings until forced to do so by upcoming revelations to the contrary.

I'll wager this whole thing is just another nothing burger. The left has had a very good record in proving so lately.

Keep up the good work.

So, if this is a "nothing burger" (seriously, how low does one's IQ need to be to use that term in a political debate forum?), why did Jr. make such a big deal about it? Seems like wishful thinking on your part to me...maybe don't wager all your money...lolz

That's it...plug your ears, say "La la la", and what you thought you were voting for might still happen.......baaahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I noticed that the link said "might" and wondered about the leap in the OP.

Speculation is always enough for a witch hunt. It would be nice if just one time there was actually evidence and charges filed before our media sentences someone. At least in the eyes of the clueless.
