Here is a solution for people who don't like guns on how to deal with their dislike for guns, don't own any, plain and simple, problem solved.

“This is my weapon, this is my gun. One is for killing, the other for fun”

We dont have a gun problem, we have a people problem.

Most Americans love guns.
Not all Americans. You would have to be living in a vacuum to not know of the circus that goes on in the USA that we call the gun debate.

That's wrong. There are actually more guns then there are people in the USA. If all the guns that were privately owned were equally distributed everybody would be armed once and many people would be armed twice.

Im on your side guys but NO, not most Americans love or even OWN guns. The last report I read had it at about 35% of the population were gun owners. They own MULTIPLE firearms however, so that's where the more guns than people figure comes in. Hell, I own 8 myself.

That's because most of the U.S. populatiin resides in slave states where gun ownership is highly infringed.

Well yes, California has an entire 1/5 of the US population. New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, and Illinois also have high populations.

Like NY and NJ, states that restrict guns where once their plantations were full of slave.

Or Georgia where you have to jump through hoops to get a CCW, I actually have to drive to the county admin building and stand in line with my form for over 10 minutes!

But to get your form, you had to sit through an 8 hour class and pay a hundred bucks.

Obviously you don't know anything about guns...

To get my CCW I had to take NO classes and pay a fee of $75, about half that to renew every 5 years. I didn't even need to be a citizen.

Its actually much higher these days...somewhere between 400-450 million.

There have ALWAYS been guns. Most homes until the 80s or so kept guns in gun racks. Many students took their guns to school with them to go hunting or target shooting after school or to participate in school target teams. Guns were in cars. No one gave a ****. The problem isnt guns.

What Percentage of Americans Own Guns?

Republican males are most likely to own guns. What a surprise!!
White people still make up the majority of the U.S. population. That being said, yes, per capita white males have the most guns. So what? I have many, many black, Asian, and Hispanic friends who are gun owners and see many more at the ranges I frequent. Gun ownership is not strictly a white males "thing".

Then why is it the "most" Americans don't have guns ?

Because maybe some Americans aren't old enough to own guns, or maybe some Americans can't afford guns or maybe some Americans don't want the responsibility of owning guns but they like to rent guns and shoot them at ranges.

You obviously don't care for guns, that being said the solution for you would be in my original post on this thread.

That does surprise me.

Such studies are not particularly accurate. They work by using surveys and surveys only work by taking a sample of the population into account and then basing the study on that sample, so especially with a small sample surveys are very unreliable. Another factor is that not everybody is going to be honest on such surveys or even answer them in the first place.
