More troops were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan during the first two years of the Obama administration (1,025) than in the first two years of Trump (68).

P.S. Under Trump, five soldiers have died in Africa.

Teargassing women and kids on the other side of a border fence isn't so risky as fighting ISIS, that's true.

well yeah. Obama inherited a mess; Trump inherited a large pullout of forces.

How many more troops were in Iraq and Afghanistan when Obama took office, vs. when Trump took office?

This argument (if you can call it that) is like claiming that more American soldiers died under Kennedy than they did under Ford.

How about blowing them to bits with Hellfire missiles like the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Drone President reportedly did?

What an excellent example of correlation does not imply causation.

Hmm, you mean Obama ending the Iraq War might have something to do with these numbers?

"inherited a mess" that lasted for 8 years? Was anything actually his responsibility?

I would exactly call it "ending the Iraq war"....we ended up right back there because someone misjudged that Junior Varsity team....

Is it Trump's fault that law enforcement officers have been using tear gas for decades? Democrats do not like tear gas? Me neither. I was gassed when I was in the Army during training. I can see how being gassed would help break up unruly mobs of rioters.

Lasted eight years with massive reduction of forces. Are you going to try to tell me that troop levels in Afghanistan and Iraq didn’t change during Obama’s presidency?

Obama droned a bunch of Mexicans? That’s ... interesting.

When did Obama drone people trying to cross into the US from Mexico? Or is that something you’re hoping trump would do?

Well, they did change....including an intervention force in 2014, that we are still dealing with.

Why does it matter where they're from? His point was they were "women and kids." Same as mine. Or do you think Mexicans are worth more than Pakistanis?

What is your point?

The first two years of each President's term of office were completely different regarding our war footing in both countries.

Or perhaps you were not aware of that?

There is no fair comparison.

"War footing" is just a euphemism for Obama keeping our troops in harm's way.

Since apparently this thread is about making absurd arguments...

Here is another interpretation of the results:

Soldier braver under Obama than under Trump

Does Putin undermine the morale of our troops?

I imagine our troops hardly care what Putin does or does not do. A flaming homosexual being forced on them by social planners in the officer corps are more likely to destroy troop morale than anything else.

Oh, I see. You’re just going to argue from a position of rank dishonesty and “gotcha” moments. I’ll pass.
