So why was Joe Arpaio found Guilty?

Breaking: Obama has nothing to do with the topic.

We now return you to your regularly programmed false equivalency nonsense.

breaking the OP is crying about a someone who hasn't even been pardoned.
the only reason the OP is crying about pardons is because it is trump.

He didn't cry about pardons when obama did that massive list at the end of his term.

and as usual you have nothing to say which is typical.
all presidents pardon people. they have been doing it for a while.

i didn't see him crying and faux outrage over it.

When the US President visits AZ to praise Arpaio while blasting McCain, you know the president is a demagogue unfit to serve.

Yep. If anyone thought they wouldn't live long enough to hear a president mock a guy going through chemo for brain cancer, congratulations. You made it.

True but Clinton's gone right now right now we got to suffer through this sleazy scumbag

Well....that wasn't the one I had in mind, but yeah him too.

Deflection & Diversion ... it use to be a Useful and Nobel Political Tactic, but when it's used everyday all day, people aren't fooled anymore.

Now back to the subject for those who are capable of presenting an argument for Joe Arpaio to pardon from being guilty of ignoring a Judges Rule.

Pick a side ... any side.

God is Watching ... and Donald Trump's day is coming.

You do realize that this man was a sheriff who took an oath to uphold the constitution and then violated it by thumbing his nose at our judicial system which he was supposed to be part of? I think he got what he deserved. I think that Trump would pardon him to test what the GOP would do. If they did nothing he probably would go ahead and pardon those in his family and his business's for anything they have done.

I see an opening for Federal prosecution of elected officials who openly violate immigration laws by aiding and harboring known felons in their cities and states.

The fallout of the Arpaio case could cover those officials if a proper angle could be determined.

I'll totally trade Arpaio for the innumerable officials who have openly committed seditious acts by creating sanctuary cities.

That word seditious is a new one for you isn't it

Nope. I've been using it for quite a while w/regard to sanctuary cities. It's in the US Code and it fits.

I can understand why Joe dud what he did to combat a problem that wasn't being addressed. Part of me even halfway supports his tough stance on illegal invaders.

However the ends do not justify the means, and Joe is guilty. I don't think Trump should pardon Joe now, let him rack up a few jail nights then maybe talk pardons.

Selling pardons, pardoning traitors previous administrations have pardoned worse folks than Joe so one can only be so outraged before becoming hypocritical.

What does this have to do with the POTUS? If you're going to blame a president, blame Obama. It was under his reign that he flourished. Let's keep it real.

Have you not been paying attention Maggie? Trump is going to pardon this racist....continuing his "embrace the racists tour"

So where was your faux outrage at obama for pardoning people?
i never saw you post it.

What are you talking about? Democrats/liberals are always soft on minor crimes. We want to empty the prison's, isn't that what right wing loons are preaching all the time?

It's Repulicans that in all the antifa threads are saying "Crime = nazis".

And here you have a criminal, and I can guarantee the same folks that went bat **** crazy about antifa types punching people, will be totally OK with this criminal being pardoned.

Unless you have a source other than the media, don't bother. Otherwise please post what I should pay attention to.

He flouted the Constitution. He disobeyed court orders. And then he bragged about it.

To understand the building outrage, particularly among civil rights groups, over the possibility that President Donald Trump would pardon former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, one need only return to the July criminal contempt decision against him.

It followed a decade-long case against the sheriff for racial-profiling practices in Arizona, during which Arpaio was ordered to stop targeting Latinos for traffic stops and detention.

"Not only did (Arpaio) abdicate responsibility, he announced to the world and to his subordinates that he was going to continue business as usual no matter who said otherwise," wrote US District Judge Susan Bolton in the July 31 order finding Arpaio guilty of criminal contempt.

Is the LAR & ORDER President going to pick and choose which Laws he likes and How Order is interpreted?

Trump loves his distractions.

Too bad for him it won't erase the Russia investigation.

According to some of our more *ahem* less than astute forum members, the only reason anyone's giving a **** about Confederate statues in Charlottesville is because the Russia investigation is kaput. Seriously.

I saw that claim. Told the guy that he better let Mueller know that he has no evidence.

If Donald Trump came to your house and told you personally, then would you believe it?

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...onsidering-pardon-for-sheriff-joe-arpaio.html

“I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio,” the president said Sunday, during a conversation with Fox News at his club in Bedminster, N.J. “He has done a lot in the fight against illegal immigration. He’s a great American patriot and I hate to see what has happened to him.”

This is a direct quote of the president by Fox News, his lapdog news organization. But it's *shudder* TEH MEEJA, and thus not to be trusted, even though the vast majority of stuff that's been reported about Trump has turned out to be true.

I saw that claim. Told the guy that he better let Mueller know that he has no evidence.

I know, right. Never mind that Charlottesville's city council voted to remove those statues months ago.

In many of these people's minds, any consternation at all with Donald Trump is only due to sour grapes over the fact that Hillary Clinton didn't ascend to the gilded throne, and not that he's an objectively awful person and has been for decades.
