So, What Happened to Trumps PROMISE to Have Health Insurance for EVERYONE?

When most politicians make promises they are unrealistic statements of lofty goal. If they don't deliver, it isn't necessarily because they didn't mean it in the first place.

Trump is full of **** on just about everything and his later actions indicate that "wonderful insurance for everyone" was never a goal. It was a lie. At the time he said it, he had no intention of actually trying to do it.

But you know that. And you'll keep pretending otherwise to run the "both sides" deflection game.

In fact his administration is actively pushing for the courts to allow insurers to turn people away, as they could in the pre-ACA days. This isn't swing-and-a-miss politics where a politician overpromised and underdelivered, Trump is deliberately trying to make it harder for people to get coverage (after promising to do the opposite). He's been doing it the entire time he's been in office.

His apologists can't truly be this blind.

Congress happened.

You know...the guys who are supposed to write laws.

But wait a damn minute..is this the same Congress who is in Trump's pocket? The same Congress who is Trump's rubber stamp? You must be mistaken.

You've never heard campaign promises that weren't kept before? Are you saying that in every Presidential election, ALL campaign promises by the winner have been kept?

Well, yeah. Remember Obama promising to close Guantanamo if he were elected, and he did it in his first year? Oh wait, that's not right. Was it by the end of his first term? Middle of the 2nd? End of the 2nd? Oh, that's right, it was just a campaign promise and he never actually followed through with it. Thank goodness history started on January 20th, 2017 or that might be an embarrassing thing to remind the Obama voters about!

Says the King of Derailing threads. You asked a question, I answered. How is that derailing?

Woodrow Wilson, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, ALL have not a ****ing thing to do with this thread.

Here, I will help you out:

There; that is what the thread is about.

If you are having reading comprehension issues, well, I don't run any English classes but you may find a remedial class that may help you with your issue(s).

If Tump is attempting to make it more difficult for 'the people' to obtain health insurance then Trump is actually the enemy of the American people, not the press?

He's still got 6 years to make good on that promise. So, what's your problem?!?

He's still got 6 years to make good on that promise. So, what's your problem?!?

Trump said this would be, "easy."

Trump said this would, "happen immediately."

Trump said, "Republicans have been saying for seven years they will fix this when they get a majority."

Did they, "fix" anything?

Trump said a lot of things, all of which were LIES.

So what is your problem? You like being lied to?

He has been attacking the foundations of the ACA so that promise was kept. As far as better insurance for everyone, Trump has never had experience struggling with insurance so he probably doesn't consider it a big deal.

2 years, and he won't fix squat only a complete fool would think he even cares.

He's still got 6 years to make good on that promise. So, what's your problem?!?

He's actively working to throw people off their insurance now, has been for 18 months. His promise to take care of everyone was simply a lie.
