Slate article shows how feminism fails women

I was in labor for like 26 hours. It didn't feel good to me till I got the epidural.

Yikes, that must have been awful for you. And what if the epidural hadn't worked for some reason? I hope you are fully recovered now.

Oh yes, it was a long long time ago, thanks. And it was pretty awful....I wasn't progressing well so they had to give me drugs to help the labor along. Then I couldn't have anything for pain for quite awhile till they were sure that was working. But oh, it felt so good!

Again, NO, pregnancy and birth doesn't always feel good. To say "it always feels good" is the first lie you're trying to sell women. Problem for you; women aren't buying it.

Oh, and it's not a "biological need to reproduce" for all women either. That's lie #2 in my book. There are many women, myself included, who never want children, and will make sure they never have any. The term for that is "childfree."

a couple hours giving birth is painful but it pales in comparison to the happiness of a raising it for years

you seem more right wing than typical.

perphaps on some things like guns, abortion and general issues but economically not quite the same and i dont exactly support israel

I swear you couldn’t make this up, this would’ve been a parody 20 years ago

I’m a very hot woman. Why do average-looking guys hit on me like they have a chance?

By intelligent she probably means “liberal” when women talk about how intelligent they are it is usually a political thing. If you have to tell people you are then you probably aren’t.

But listen to this, she’s blown her college education, thinks she’s smarter then she is and apparently has deep feelings of inadequacy. Because there’s no other reason to self describe yourself as “attractive” and post lingerie photos. This may come as a shock, everyone knows what a woman looks like, she ain’t that special. But here’s the kicker

Listen to this, this is really sad, this poor woman was victimized by feminism

I think deep down she knows the truth. She’s not as attractive as she once was, and she was never that attractive to start with, and so she blew her twenties having loose sex with undesirable men and now she’s coming to the realization that the blessings nature gave her in order to attract a good man who will provide were wasted. And she is trying to hold on to her self image by turning away the few remaining quality men who try to get close to her.
And by 40 she will be done, only true losers who are lonely will want to be with her. Because a successful man in his 30s can always have a 24 or 25 y/o woman.

Remember the more sexual partners a woman had in the past is a greater danger she will file for divorce. They lose to ability to properly bond, this lady knows she wants these “average men” but she can’t feel like she does, because she’s f***ed away her ability to pair bond.

Really sad. And of course the response by the advice columnists is not to warn younger women reading to stop having loose sex Now.

But anyway the decline and fall of west on full display.

She mentioned being in great shape, probably always was and that shape may have been the key attraction. Her 'looks' may have faded even if her body is in shape. So mid 30 to 40 she doesn't attract younger hot guys. 40 somethings are a lot more comfortable with approaching her, they have money, good jobs and experience with playing the dating game. She on the other hand has lost her once "youthful" glamour. Now she's attractive but not so "hot". Every good thing comes to an end.

You seem to know right wing propaganda and rhetoric quite well; that is what sometimes confuses.

What is your position, economically?

You don't support Israel about what?

israel is heavily supported on the right, i am not

economically, i am left- i have advocated and disagreed with right wingers on private prisons and other things,im not a huge fan of redistrubution but i wont defend large corporations nor the large government, kinda of a two way thing where RW and leftists only get angry at one, something to that effect but i strongly believe in socially right values such as traditional christian values

Ok. Thanks for explaining why you come across like a right winger.

"A couple hours," yeah, right. It's so obvious to me that you know nothing about how long labor can last and how truly awful it can be.

As to the "happiness of raising it for years" claim, ask women who seriously regret having their children and wish they could get "their old life back" instead. Or do a Google search on "women who regret having children." You might learn something.

Yeah, one can only imagine how "good" 26 hours of childbirth can be. Facts don't seem to register with some people, do they.

No they don't. This place has some awesome threads though. How would we know what feels good and what we need and love without men to tell us?

i did and the first link i clicked was on a single mother...

Women's perception of equality is what fails them.

Why complain about being used by All of the other ones yet be unwilling to make an appointment for a full body massage for free.

Men don't usually have a problem with it, why do women?

I find it deeply offensive, even as a male, that you blanket this statement on all women. If you are incapable of understanding that all women are not in a relationship for the money or 'gold' and that the vast majority are there because of the love and commitment to their partner, you need to rethink your outlook on women. You seem incapable of viewing any situation in a rational and appropriate manner.

There are bad men and bad women, there are men who take advantage of women and women who take advantage of men...it goes both ways.

I will once again point out, it seems your views are centered more an egotistical display of superiority and power and rational

Clearly you know nothing about biology because hypergamy is real. It may not apply to all women but it does apply the majority.

Wow, I've rarely seen misogyny expressed so blatantly in public.

WTF are you talking about?
You literally said the majority of women are inferior to the men they marry. Did you know what the **** you were saying or did you just like the sound of the word?

well i havent seen any who dont like children.

Women can like children and still regret becoming mothers themselves. Women who don't like children as a rule should never become mothers at all IMO.

Men are soo equal, we are even willing to form a line around the block for a free, full body massage. Why are women not that equal?
