Should we ban conversion therapy for minors?

Why don't you start this therapy with the myriad of Conservatives that have railed against homosexuality while they were in the closet or should I say the back door of their lovers.....please....another stupid frigging subject.... What Conservatives need to do is stop trying to tell people how to conduct their sex lives ....like stopping sodomy and the like. Here a suggestion if you don't like sodomy then I suggest you start by pulling your head out of your own arse first....

im not an expert here. ive never been gay or have never been converted back from it. im personally fine with gay people and support gay marriage (weird for a conservative right?). im just saying the program worked for him now hes living his best life and enjoying it. his father just bought him a honda pilot and now hes cruising around picking up girls his age. fairy tale ending.

all im saying is keep an open mind.

Just wondering, since Dad thought it so important that he be "converted" is the new car a reward? Seems to me the easiest way out of conversion therapy might be claiming that it worked. Some teens might manipulate their parents like that, ya know?

Can you source the bold? ANd since being gay isnt a choice, it really doesnt matter if they want to be or not.

There are no drawbacks or disadvantages to being gay that are not forced on them or influenced by society.

If a kid feels they need therapy...that idea is impressed on them by parents/society...otherwise why would they feel it's 'wrong'?

Proof- long term studies pls that follow these so called successes for many years after this so called medical treatment.
If they were not gay, then how would you know if this witch doctor medicine worked? If they were gay, then denied it, eventually they will come out.
Deal with it, sexual orientation is biological from the day one is born.
Hiding it is social and family pressure.
