Oh, I swear he was going to get hired by Bravo, lol

Good for Shep. He was one of the few at FOX that I could stomach.

CNBC has really declined in the last ten years, and I was hoping they wouldn't hire another 'fake' journalist like John Harwood (who has found his proper leftwing home at CNN). Oh well, its now a network of politicized crap and virtue posturing drivel.

Absolutely. I posted at the time that as soon as his "contract" with FOX was up, there would be a dozen new job opportunities just waiting for him. He took a public stand against the deliberate taint of FOX "news", and walked out with his principles in tact. Good for him.

Ya, I agree. Remember that putz Larry Kudlow. I wondered where he went? Probably another bottom-feeding network.

What? No "Fake News!" posts since I posted a Breaking 911 link? Weird! :)

Good for Shep. His professionalism deserves to be rewarded.

he actually, while on Fox News, pointed out when Donald Trump did horrible stuff or told lies.

it's a miracle he lasted as long as he did.

No one will ever mistake Shep Smith for a "liberal media" guy. No one would ever mistake Megyn Kelly, or Greta Van Susturen, or Gretchen Carlson for a "liberal media" people, either. And their careers with FauxNew have forever rendered them pariahs in the legitimate news world.

And yet, everyone who leaves the FauxNews cult is quickly discredited by their former cult viewers. The very same people who hung on their every word (while at FauxNews), are quick to "remind" everyone how they never really liked or trusted them, from the beginning. It's truly a cult.

So, what was the guy's (Shep Smith's) great "offense"? Can anyone answer that?

The only people on the planet who honestly, truly BELIEVE that facts have ideologies...that there are "liberal facts" and "conservative facts"...are rightwingers.

There's a message in there, somewhere.

Problem is, since they have so little respect for objective facts, it's impossible to get that message through to them.

Wasn't he an anti-Trump moderate on Fox?

I stopped watching around 2008. He was one of those people that they had on there to offset the nutbags in order to give the RNC infomercial an excuse.

I've never liked smith. He's always been a prissy, "shocked" dim wit whose lurid private life fit perfectly with his on air personality - his reputation as a waitress insulting, attention getting drunk being very well known.
