If it gets people talking about PACs, then that's all the really matters. I haven't seen anything suggesting ALL pacts function as hers, but if the majority of them did, it wouldn't be surprising. Palin's PAC is especially interesting, because unlike HillPAC furthering Hilary Clinton's political career, Sarah is barely politically relevant anymore. The only reason she needs the PAC is to funnel millions to herself...

Bottom line is Palin is doing nothing any different than any other PAC. It's just the left still has an overwhelming sexual need to discuss her in hopes they'll get lucky. It's cute really...

We should all be critical of PACs and how money influences our government. It shouldn't matter if it's Palin or Pelosi. PACs should be discussed and criticized.

Why would anyone criticize Palin's PAC? Unless you're a donor....it's called "nunya business". The Young Turks call it (incorrectly) a scam. It isn't a scam. People who donate to PACs know the difference between a PAC donation and a donation directly to a candidate's campaign. Palin is actually a rarity. Most PACs don't donate to individual campaigns.

No hypocrisy here. I didn't criticize Reid's actions with his PAC. I didn't donate to it. I am in here pointing out the idiocy of the Young Turks and the partisan foolery of people not doing their fact checking first.

We've known that for 5 years .... but we sure do enjoy watching liberals just go absolutely bananas every time she speaks ... it is TRULY funny!!! I agree, which is why I suggested a thread on PACs. Although I'm at the point in my life that I figure people can donate to whatever (worthless) political cause they want to and I shouldn't criticize them. But that said, PACs can also be game changing in an election, and I'd love to poke holes in them.

Why are no other former VP candidates discussed wit such interest more than 8 years after their election was lost? I think we need a good old Joe Lieberman thread to keep it....even.

Another reason why PAC's need to be reigned in, they can be used as a massive scam. Sarah Palins PAC is a prime example.
