Samsung introduces Galaxy Fold

Interesting and there's some great concepts included but I'd be REALLY interested to see how well the screen holds up. I can't think of too many materials outside of cloth that stand up to being constantly folded and unfolded.

That is quite an amazing piece of technology, but I share Lutherf's concern about the material in the screen: How many times can it be folded and unfolded before it starts to crack?

Like most gee whiz technology, it's a good idea to wait for it to be perfected before jumping in with a grand or so to buy one. I'm sure they aren't cheap.

Interesting concept. If the screen holds up and when they eventually make it thinner I can see there being a demand for it. I do like the idea of a tablet that can be folded up to fit into a pocket but still used as a phone in its folded up form.
