Russian-Orthodox and Greek-Orthodox church services

Been to Greek Orthodox several times, including a wedding.

The overwhelming impression: L-o-n-g! Really l-o-n-g!

But really beautiful with archaic rubrics & vestments. And lots of incense. If you enjoy the traditional Latin Mass of the Roman Rite, you'll likely like the Greek rite. Really something to attend at least once. But once, may be about it! But do go ...

[As an aside, I once got to attend a formal Sikh wedding. Wow! it was absolutely amazing! No other words to describe it. What a privilege it was! It's still vividly etched in my memory.]

Yes, I was invited to a Hindu wedding once- absolutely spectacular!

But also with veeeeery loooong rituals. It was really fun to go to once, but I’m not sure I’m willing to do that regularly.

Who has been to those church services?
And how do you like it?

I’ve been to a Russian Orthodox service. Not knowing Old Church Slavonic made understanding it a little difficult, and lack of pews made it look partly like an aerobics class with all the kneeling and standing. And I’m not a big fan of incense, but the Russian Orthodox certainly are.

On the other hand, the ceremony itself was very elaborate and impressive.

As we have learned from those fanatical "Bible Christians": all the Catholics will go to hell.
Now I wonder: What do those fanatics think of the Orthodox Churches?
Does anyone here know?
