Some of them are bigoted pedophiles. The real problem is that Republican voters obviously don't consider that to be a disqualifier for public office. The religious right in the Republican base does not care about moral values, that is just a club they beat their political opponents with. What they actually care about is political power and using the government as an authoritarian instrument to enforce their authoritarian views on others. So it would not matter if Roy Moore was on video bragging about grabbing teen girls by the vagina. They would not care and would still vote for him because he is one of them and he doesn't have a D after his name.

No, let's look at the transcript:
