Really? How Trump eats steak is important?

No go to a high quality steak house (one that a "billionaire" or US president would frequent) and just look at how much a steak cost, especially in the northeast where everything is super expensive

Just reminds me of an old English proverb.
A good steak is contingent on the cook, way more than the price paid.

if you order it well done with ketchup it doesnt matter the cook you might as well be eating cardboard

It's really getting stupid the things people are finding to criticize Trump with. And he is a child?

Trump eats steak with ketchup! OMG! We are doomed~!

It is silly how much attention this is getting. I admit, though, I did get a chuckle out of it because it does fit the narrative of Trump acting like a child.

People should be more worried about the fact, that the taxpayers are paying Donald Trump so Donald Trump can eat his own steak at his own restaurant, in his own building..... no conflict of interest there at all...

The President is getting payed to be the President, not to eat dinner. What a ridiculous comment.

Its fits the narrative of Trump acting like someone who doesnt belong, this type of stuff is the epitome of why hes an outsider. No matter how much money he has or how much power he will never be let into the club because hes not one of them.

Some people have different taste preferences.
Not really something reporting about imo.

I agree its not a news worthy story. But there is no "taste preference" for what Trump did to that steak.

I used to eat steak well done, with A1 sauce because most commercial steak houses suck and it tasted like crap to me.
My wife's friend makes a medium steak that needs nothing, I'll eat that.
Plus it's free.

Seems like circular logic, getting it well done makes it taste like crap. If you have a quality piece of meat theres not much you can do to **** that up other than overcooking it. Which is why a good steak costs money, a nice piece of meat cooked as little as possible and you cant go wrong flavor wise.

I'm very sure that President Trump does not NEED to do anything, just because you think he should do it. President Reagan loved cottage cheese with ketchup. Much ado about nothing.

I think you're overestimating my true give a **** about what he eats.

Look at what you are citing: a news aggregator whose own limited contributions are the definition of a rag publication, a tabloid, and a pedo's blog.

And anyway, the real heresy is in demanding good steak be cooked well-done. Ask for that at my house and you can stick to the damn salad.

I guess so.
I've tried it before, not well done, in restaurants and wasn't impressed.
Even then though, it seems incredibly fool hardy to pay more than $10-20 for a steak.
Some of my friends grow them for a living and they tell me most of that stuff is a marketing gimmick.

I think all these breathlessly excited reports should be saved for days when there isn't much else to have a fit about during the daily 3-minute hate.

Other potential topics (feel free to add your own, but make sure your point is very, very important):

(1) Trump doesn't use a double Windsor when knotting his tie.
(2) Trump holds his fork European-style.
(3) ????

Only thing ketchup should be used for is fried potatoes (hash browns, fries, etc). Even then, it should be used sparingly and with a splash of hot sauce.

He wore a tan suit

He did not hold his own umbrella

I am sure we could come up with some other stupid things that past presidents or presidential candidates were mocked over

Well, I definitely agree children do not belong in political office. ;)

If you are eating a $10 steak in a restaurant then its definitely poor quality meat. A decent steak really shouldn't cost under $20 in a restaurant

see that small section labeled rib thats your highest quality meat and it cost so much because there is only so much on each cow

Some of my friends grow them for a living and they tell me most of that stuff is a marketing gimmick.

Some of it is but its really about how the meat is handled after the cow is killed

That must have ticked off a lot of New Yorkers.

I was outraged!

I hope you all know I only posted this to have fun, not to complain. I thought it was pretty funny :)
