Wouldn't know what most people with an IQ over 85 would think, because being a conservative, I don't know many of them. I sure never saw any at my little old law school in the Ozarks, where we only had two professers and one classroom, which was an old barn. Those pigeons in the rafters sure raised hell with our textbooks (each of us only had one, with lots of pictures) and our papers. I come on sites like this hoping to learn all those sophisticated European things from liberals, so I can sound smart like them.

I notice how often people with a certain political philosophy seem ashamed to be Americans. I think they don't much like this country. Not me. I could not be more proud of the U.S. and of its history. I was glad to see President Trump show Ms. Merkel, by his demeanor, which of their two nations is the big fish, and which is not. She's a fool, and her country isn't paying its fair share for defense. Watching her shown her place in our alliance beats hell out of watching B. Hussein Obama go overseas and bow to leaders of other nations, while apologizing for his own.

It's gonna be a long 4 years but if we get a balance budget, Obamacare defeated and a replacement that every Republican that promised a replacement that their constituents see they honored , a superior jurist on the Supreme Court in the likeness of Scalia, the EPA neutered, a buildup of defense, a secured border.....then it will all have been worth it.

Frankly, that seems much more likely than your position that "lol Merkel is so dumb she doesn't know which country Berlin is in"
