They also aren't going to join what they think is a losing cause

In just about every "revolutionary" war since WWII, the USSR supplied aid - none more so that the aircraft and material it supplied Egypt in their two wars against Israel in 1969 & 1973 (who were and are supplied by the USA)

For example:

-most of us have listening devices in our homes, and who knows what they're doing or who's listening when we're not thinking about them.
-"Newspeak" is rampant. Aliens who are here illegally are not "illegal aliens," they are "undocumented immigrants." People in prison are not "convicts" or "prisoners" anymore, they are "individuals involved in the criminal justice system." And so on.

Just out of interest what is your source that prison inmate are now referred to as ""individuals involved in the criminal justice system" ?


And many illegal immigrants are indeed documented, they just overstay their visa.
