I agree completely with John McCain in his speech before the Detroit Economic Club in 2008 when he said we cannot afford to NOT take action in case the science is right because if we do NOT, and the science is right, we are screwed three ways to Sunday as we can lose our planet. On the other hand, if we spend a lot of money but the warming alarms were never accurate, all we did was waste money and we still have a livable planet.

That makes a whole lot of sense.
