WASHINGTON – Russia special counsel Robert Mueller objected Monday to a tentative agreement that would free Paul Manafort from house arrest after discovering that the former Trump campaign chairman was "ghost-writing" an editorial hat cast a favorable light on his work – with a colleague allegedly tied to Russian intelligence.

How dumb does one have to be, after being indicted for colluding with the Russians, as well as laundering Russian money, by co-writing an op ed with someone from the Russian intel community?

Holy crap. These jokes are writing themselves.

House arrest my ass. Throw his Rodney Dangerfield looking ass in jail.

House arrest. Yeah, that's a real punishment.

Does ghost writing violate a condition of his sentence?

You're going to prove you don't collude with Russians... by writing secret op-eds with them in violation of your bail.

That's going full-retard.

It's like Watergate, but everyone's stupid.

And trying to copy watergate playbook, but failing. These people are all horrible at being politicians, and the funny thing is. If they stayed in business nobody would have cared what they did and nobody would even know who these people are.

Like prosecutors 5 days in arguing that DSK should not be let out of Rykers these cats look abusive.

Not smart.

And writing under a fake name, is only going to make it look worse.

He may have violated bond, here.

He hasn't been convicted.

So much for the 1st Amendment.

So much for the 1st Amendment.

As any first year law student would tell you, the First Amendment isn’t absolute.
In this case, the judge ordered that as a condition of bail, not to mention or discuss the case. He violated that order and did so knowingly, as evident by doing so in a sneaky manner.

He is still being held until trial. He is just being held at home instead of inside a jail cell.

He hasn't been convicted, hence he can't be punished.

Manafort has all the brains of a cabbage patch doll. He even looks like one. He knows what a gag order is.

I mean it even looks worse with him trying to hide it with the "ghostwriting" crap.

No, he has not been punished yet. He hasn't gone to trial. He was released on a $12 million dollar bail agreement, and the terms of the agreement were that he had to be on house arrest, because he is a flight risk.

To Russia.

LOL! Well, THAT certainly blew in up your face quickly.

He doesn't need to be convicted of anything to have the terms of his release changed or revoked if he violates them.

Too funny.

You totally missed it. :lamo

... what does the first amendment have to do with gag orders? Are gag orders are unconstitutional?

Sent from Donald's hair using Putin's Blackerry.

They can be, yes. A good example is Nakoula Bassely Nakoula.
