I have several problems with the Kavanaugh hearings and his back ground.I will list them:
1. Is that he may be or have been a sexual predator. It is not just the one allegation, but three or more makes me wonder. I know, it is really too late to know, but it also makes me worry about his ability to look at cases involving women without bias after these allegations, although he did not seem to be exactly neutral before this..
2. Drinking and gambling. Both of these can be a form of disease and are sometimes connected. Maybe by ridding himself of the addiction to drinking, he replaced it with an addiction to gambling. Both could allow people to use his addictions to their own purposes.
3. Lying. This man has lied many times in his hearings. Lies about his drinking. Lies about his work getting other judges confirmed. Lies about seeing or not seeing stolen material from the Dems. I could go on, but to tell a white lie here and then I could understand, but his constant lying makes me wonder about whether he is lying about the sexual harassment?
4. Demeanor at the last hearing. He sounded like a person who was not only angry, but out of control. And he certainly cemented himself as a GOP operative and would be on the court. He also seemed to pledge himself to getting back at those who came out about his early life problems and the Dems.
We are going to put this man on the highest court in the land for life with all of this hanging over his head. I guess if the GOP can condone the sexual harassment that has been alleged against their man in the White House and his constant lies, why not the Supreme Court.

You know who I have a problem with?

People that claim Brett Kavanaugh is a victim and is being treated unfairly in this interview process.

Every women and minority is laughing at this supposed "white/rich discrimination."

Brett Kavanaugh was given every advantage in life. People feeling sorry for him makes me sick!

Thats rather stupid. Wealth and privilege dont protect you from being victimized. He is the victim of a smear campaign. Thats obvious as hell.

I'm curious. How do you start a smear campaign?

1. A "what if" position.
2. Drinking issue: Do you have anything current other than the news covering his teenage and early college days?
3. alleged on your part. If what you wrote is true, then wouldn't you expect his nomination to have failed already?
4. Partisan view point. Nice talking points from the democrats. Are you an operative?

If I before a committee to address the allegation of sexual predator I doubt I would be cool, calm and collected if I stayed to answer questions. Personally, I might have said the events didn't happen as stated by the accuser(s). Thank the committee for time and consideration, Then get up and walk out. There is so much politics in the SC nomination process it is sickening.

He would only be a victim of a smear campaign if the allegations weren't true, and I would bet dollars to doughnuts you weren't at those parties.

I agree with #3. I think he lied about his drinking and his yearbook entries.

Problem is not one accusation has been proved. What level of proof is acceptable? If you haven't seen the memo the lady prosecutor wrong about her questioning of Ford, you should take a look. It may take some effort MSM outlets are studiously ignoring it for some reason.

Possibly a wild card

Are you calling them lies because someone else contradicted him or because actual proof shows he KNEW what he was saying was false (actual definition of lie). What I saw was far from "constant" lying.

So, if we're going to punish behavior at the hearing we should impeach Booker and Harris for their disgraceful theatrics? IMHO, Kavanaugh acted like a man who's family was attacked as well as his reputation and dignity. Again, compare and contrast with the senators on the panel.

Well, Obama first teamed up with defunct CIA mind control program chiefs. They then built a secret bunker (in a mosque, no less) in which they used liberal techniques to make people think Kavanaugh had assaulted them, or that Kavanaugh was a regular belligerent drunk, or that yadda yadda.

That or it was the mind control worms from space again. Obama was always good with those.

I hope you one day realize how pathetically stupid it looks for the same people to call every accusation against a conservative a "smear campaign", and how titantically hypocritical to also 'stand with' anyone accusing a liberal.

He said he drank too much. Didn't he even admit to passing out? BFD. Yearbook entries? Give me a break. Going up for SCOTUS nomination how much time would you spend review your HS yearbook entrees.

I think you are a hopeless partisan who wouldn't want him on the court even without your 4 points.

What about the fact that he is so openly partisan?

We have never had a nominee so blatantly identify with a political party.

The *main* problem I havre with all of this is neither Democrats nor Republicans care at all about whatever Kavanaugh did or did not do. Republicans are sure not interested in Kavanaugh’s character, self-control and composure during all this. Democrats are not all that interested in whatever did and did not happen to Ford (and the others.)

This is about politics, and the element of time in conjunction with the uncertainty of the midterms... has been ever since Kavanaugh was nominated.

A “smear campaign,” also called search and destroy, by Democrats was expected from day one. Blind support for Kavanaugh was expected from Republicans day one as well. When push came to shove, we knew Republicans would hug Kavanaugh as much as Democrats would hug Ford... but it is all epic showmanship. So many here buy it.

The disposition of the Supreme Court is politically important enough to ignore all principles of human decency and ethical standards, and that is bipartisan throughout all this. All evidence supporting.

Just maybe brett knows what it feels like when a black man gets pulled over or when a woman gets passed over for a job promotion.

What brett kavanaugh experienced in a week is what many experience for their entire life.

Not for anything but how is a person supposed to act when accused of sexual assault. Does anyone know how angry he or she would get on National TV given the circumstances.

Your post is nothing but unsupported allegations, wild speculation and baseless bias. It's not worth the 30 seconds it took me to read it.

Dismissed.

I think you hate him because, "Truuuuuuuump!!".

Whether he is guilty of sexual assault or not, something I doubt can be proven either way at this point. Where I had issue with his rambling rant before he was even asked any questions, he came off as emotionally unstable and as SC Justice I expect someone that can take pressure, and there will be, and to retain their decorum no matter what. We can do better than him, sadly I think the Repubs will confurm him no matter what, their bar is so low I doubt anything will disqualify him for them.

You must like it better when people fool you into thinking they are objective.

Problems i have with Kavanaugh, what do you think?

besides his views on executive power, it seems possible if not likely that he's going to hold a serious grudge that could affect his decisions for the rest of his life. that's a concern.

Just maybe brett knows what it feels like when a black man gets pulled over or when a woman gets passed over for a job promotion.

What brett kavanaugh experienced in a week is what many experience for their entire life.

Is that what this is about? Make Kavanaugh suffer an injustice so that he knows what injustice feels like? You dont fight injustice with injustice. And just so you know, Ford was the product of the exact same upper class entitlement system as Kavanaugh. So I guess according to your 'reasoning' she cant be a victim either.
