People are very confused. Well what else is new. But especially about the word "racism."

We don't see anything wrong with black pride or gay pride. Minorities are allowed to be proud of their group identity. However, white pride is considered racism.

There is a long history of white pride, of looking down at non-white races and ethnic groups. There was the famous "White man's burden," for example. Lots of people felt this way until not so long ago. Now most people who feel that way keep it secret, because it's taboo.

But the feelings of superiority of Europeans and European-Americans is based on the fact that most of the inventions and discoveries of the modern world came from their culture.

I do NOT think that was because of their whiteness, or their European ethnicity! It was a chain of historical accidents that caused Europe to be the center of invention and discovery. They were primitive raiders and herders when there were advanced civilizations in Africa, Asia, and America. But then things happened, and here we are. No one in Africa invented a telescope or a microscope.

White nationalism is really ethnic pride. It is arrogant and obnoxious, yes. But you can't simply shut it down, because they do have things to be proud of. Well, not really, since most of the white nationalists are dumb and never invented anything.

My point is that it's complicated. White pride is partly a reaction to black pride, gay pride, feminism, etc. There is so much contempt now for "old white men." There is really no admiration any more for the great discoverers and adventurers. Columbus is despised now because he wasn't nice to the natives. The guy was a visionary, brave explorer, and you expect him to also be a sweetheart and lover of natives?

White men have done the most to create our modern world. I think our modern world is actually more bad than good. But credit for the bad, and the good, goes mostly to white men. NOT women! I am a woman, and I can face the fact that women have accomplished VERY LITTLE compared to men! NOT because we are inferior, but because of social roles and restrictions.

As to why 'white' or 'straight' parades are looked upon as vulgar, these are considered the normal and superior modes of being - the 'normal'.

Take a retard parade. They are allowed to parade because they are pitied and looked upon as inferior, but we'd feel better about it if we called them 'developmentally disabled'. But the esteem we have for them doesn't increase. When someone sets up a "Normal IQ" parade, it's looked at as insulting and vulgar. This is kind of the same dynamic when straight or white pride parades are done.

I don't like identity politics at all. I never was a feminist. And notice we don't have a Jewish pride movement. That's because we don't need one -- Jews have proven they can succeed in the modern world.

My advice to my fellow "whitey's." Adapt and improvise. It's a new age and there are no protections guaranteeing us we get to stay in charge of the plantation.

You got problems with people who don't all sit down together at the table at supper time? Adapt and improvise.

You got problem with men who don't step up and be a father like the father you had? Adapt and improvise.

You got problems with car jackings and drive-by's? Adapt and improvise.

You got problems with filth and urban decay in the inner-cities? Adapt and improvise.

Face it. It's about cultural differences. It's not about the color of one's skin.

But since the culture that seems to offend "whitey" the most usually happen to share a common skin color, you can't criticize these, what you think are, anti-social traits because that would make you racist.

Yes, many whites owned blacks, in the past. But many African blacks owned African blacks, in the past, and actually some still do.

Egyptians owned Hebrews, in the past. Almost every race and ethnic group was owned by someone at some time.

Women were considered their husband's possession, until not long ago. That doesn't make me hate all men.

Nobody is trying to stamp out all forms of pride.
We have white culture in this country, and white people are proud of that culture. Have you heard of the Irish? The Germans? The Swiss? The English? These are all white cultures that people take pride in. They hand down traditions from generation to generation. My family still eats blood sausage at Christmas. (if you haven't tried it...uh... don't)

Chinese culture is celebrated. Japanese culture is celebrated. Mexican culture is celebrated.

Black people are different. There's a reason for it: this heritage was deliberately taken away from them. Most of them can't trace their ancestry to Zaire or Congo or Sudan. That information was not allowed to pass from generation to generation. The culture was not allowed to pass from generation to generation. Even their religion was forcibly changed. So they had to develop a new culture, around the only thing they really had in common. A history in chains.

And every last bit of this occurred under the whip of a white owner. That's why oppression by white people is a common thread in black culture. It's literally why black culture exists. Yeah, a black person was on the selling point a dozen generations ago, and that's terrible, but that black person didn't make the slaves learn English or convert to Christianity. It's not relevant to a discussion like this.
