I have lived through every president on this list, and remember first-hand their administrations except for JFK’s. With Kennedy, I was only vaguely aware, even though I was a very small child. I have been blessed with a great memory. My older siblings and parents were very current-events conscious and I learned from that. So here is my list from first to worst (sorry, headline has it backwards)

1. Donald Trump -- I didn’t think anyone could surpass Reagan, but Trump has already done so. He’s proven unafraid to go where no man has dared: illegal immigration, trade fairness, energy independence, Israel, and overcoming racist and homophobic charges. When he goes after entitlements and the deficit in his second term, that will cement his place in the top three greatest presidents in history, and perhaps the greatest of all time.
2. Ronald Reagan -- Conservative stalwart. Dramatically cut taxes, single-handedly dismantled the Soviet bloc. Repaired the Carter fiasco and ushered in great prosperity. Helped change the culture
3. George W. Bush --The guy did it all. Won TWO wars, ran a booming economy for six years until the Democrat Congress screwed the whole thing up and caused the Great Recession. Worked hard and restored morality to the Oval Office.
4. George H.W. Bush -- Won the Gulf war. Decent moral man
5. Gerald Ford. -- Decent man
6. JFK -- Cut taxes and fought Communism, but was a sexually immoral man
7. Richard Nixon -- oversaw a prosperous economy, fought Communism. Weakness was establishing EPA which was overtaken by the Marxists.
8. LBJ-- So-called war on poverty has been a $20 trillion dollar failure. Made permanent dependents and harmed black families irreparably, piddled around on the winnable Vietnam War.
9. Jimmy Carter –-The very definition of incompetent. Disaster both domestically and abroad. Small, petty man. Highly jealous of Nixon, whose advice Clinton sought on foreigh policy matters, rather than Carter’s.
10. Bill Clinton. Immoral failure. AWOL during the run-up to the 9-11 attacks. Spent many nights screwing interns. Only the great GOP Congress saved the nation economically from his disastrous 1993 tax hikes
11. Barack 0bama – Despicable. The first president to actively and intentionally weaken America in accordance with the Marxist agenda.

Id have say both Bushs were not good
Ford like Carter were both just meh
JFK I think was good for his short amount of time
LBJ sucked the worst
Clinton I think did good
Nixon I think did awesome
Obviously Reagan is still the goat
Obama left a lot to be desired
Trumps doing fine so far

I'd rank
Reagan
JFK
Nixon
Trump
Clinton
Bush Sr
Obama
Ford
Carter
Bush jr
LBJ

Yeah, seeing who the OP was, that list was about as predictably loose with reality as you would imagine it would be.

I just couldn’t imagine living in such a way of thinking, where I’m seeing a version of the world around me, entirely of my own creation and divorced from any sort of attachment to the reality of the world.

I could be persuaded to put JFK ahead of Ford.

The other thing I should have added to 0bama: Oversaw the first coup attempt in American history. Details of that should be forthcoming, starting with the Barr report. I only wish there was a lower position than 'worst' I could put 0bama at

I lean right and this list is absurd.

You can't judge any presidency until at least 10-20 years have passed. You won't know how their policies have worked out.

However, Trump as the best? That is simply not true by any metric. Obama as the worst? Not true by any metric.

The best POTUS of all time was hands down Lincoln, followed by Washington, both of whom somehow didn't make your list? No Eisenhower? No Truman? Jefferson? Madison? Adams? none of these guys made the list?

Dislike Clinton all you want, the guy presided over an amazing economy and managed to keep the ship headed in the right direction. Doesn't make him good or bad, in that sense, but banging an assistant is hardly a disqualifying event for an entire legacy.

George W? The Iraq war was a mess and that alone knocks him out of the top 10, even if he cured cancer.

JFK was great, why? Cuban missile crisis? What about the Bay of Pigs? What about letting government workers unionize? Those were two stinkers. He is thought of fondly largely due to his inability to duck.

The list was since JFK only. These were the ones I've lived through.

A coup which caught several Trump aids breaking laws and serving prison sentences, awww, too bad..

Well.... I can agree that your title is correct. As to the list?

DJT is about ten positions too high.

Wow....I am totally shocked that the OP came up with such a list of HIS ranked Presidents since JFK. NOT!!!!!!!!

Clinton had nothing to do with the great economy of the late 1990s. The country was in a malaise in 1993-94 thanks to Clinton's largest tax hike in history. Only the great 104th Congress with it's Contract With America started the economy on its meteoric rising starting in early 1995. Clinton was forced to go along kicking and screaming. The SOB get zero credit for that economy.

As there is no way to edit a headline, I clarified it in my post. Obviously Trump is at the top of the list of great presidents.

Bush won the Iraq War. 0bama pissed it away.

When Obama was selected for the Nobel Peace prize .... had not done one thing for peace, I saw the set up by the Democrats instantly.

Yes! And I can’t wait to finally found out what Trump’s “top people” were finding on his Kenyan birth certificate too!:lamo

Trump is going after entitlements for farmers..

Trump also went after tax loopholes for the rich, but Congress stopped him. Congress will do the same regarding entitlements for farmers.

Possibly, because the list was post JFK.

Look, when Democrats managed to get for Obama the Nobel Prize, far too many Democrats made it possible. And Obama proves that even though he was terrible, he has his cult.

I voted for my first time voting for Kennedy. Then as if to Thank me, he drafted me. As a kid it was FDR in office and when I was in the 2nd grade, he died. My family bought into his stories so I was raised as a Democrat. FDR truly deserved to be Impeached.

1. Early to adopt Hitlers policies on his economy. It was much later as an Adult I woke up to his treachery. Do not think you can be fooled since he led us into war. And in many ways so provoked Japan they believed all that could save them was to take his bait and attack Hawaii.
2. Abraham led us into the Civil war of 1861-1865.
3. Since I did vote for Kennedy, I was an adult voter who easily saw his failures. Frankly his rhetoric was like catnip on steroids.
4. Trump has actually driven America away from War.

Best over his First term has to be Reagan then Trump. We can already see massive change for the better. Reagan still is #1 prior to those who your Democrats who to the vote for great presidents. Reagan got his super victory over Communism later for sure. Trump yet has not had such a victory over any evil.

Evil keeps chasing Trump. Evil = Democrats and that could bring him down.
5. Trump has time to get to #1. Say he defeats the major enemy ... Democrats who keep lionizing FDR.

As I say with clear mind, two presidents led us into major wars and both, had they worked for peace, could have got it almost for free.

Kennedy actually could have prevented the missile crisis in Cuba and escaped war with the Soviets.

Very interesting. Yes, the harm that FDR did may never be overcome. My mother-in-law voted for Wendell Willkie in 1940. People can't believe that. She's 101 now.

Technically, I was alive during the last of Ike. If I put him on the list, he'd be third. America was greatly prosperous in the 1950s, and we were the most religious we have ever been, so many priests, nuns, and Catholic schools, and families were stronger than they'd ever been. It all goes together. The 1950s decade was a great time. I wish I had seen it.
