Re: Presidential hopeful Ben Carson thinks Obama is a 'psychopath' and America is lik
Err. No.
WTF is wrong with Ammunition Sales, Coin Dealers, Firearms Sales, Fireworks Sales, Home-Based Charities, Pharmaceutical Sales, Surveillance Equipment, Tobacco Sales?? Other than not aligning to the liberal / progressive / Democratic 'push agenda'?
I'll grant you that the other ones are shady, but I cast no moral relativism on this. If they are owned and operated within the letter of the law, then it's illegal for the government to harass them. PERIOD.
So killing off entrepreneurs of small businesses. That's a pretty low blow to the middle class, don't you think?
This abuse of government power, this liberal / progressive / Democratic push agenda cannot be allowed to proceed. It needs to be terminated forthwith, and those responsible criminally charged with this abuse of government power, so as to forestall another recurrence.
Online gambling, payday loans, escort services etc are targeted. I don't agree with the action at all and it should be stopped immediately but I'm really tired of the whining and trying to turn every thing into some politicized witch hunt.

Congress launching hearings on complaints businesses targeted by 'Operation Choke Point' | Fox NewsBrennan Appel, owner of Global Hookah Distributors, said he realized he was a victim of Operation Choke Point after he got a letter from Bank of America telling him that after 12 years of working together, it was closing all his business and personal accounts.
Appel said a few months later, his payment-processing company also dropped him. "I started this business when I was 18 years old, funded my way through college with it and have continued on growing the company into what it is today. And I feel like, why do you get punished when you are growing a company?"
Appel began recording his conversations with Alex Bacon, the president of EFT which was his payment processor. He wanted to prove he was the target of Operation Choke Point.
. . .
Initially, the FDIC put out a list of 30 high-risk businesses, but that list has since been rescinded.

The above contradicts your ill-informed view.I do too...but the narrative that Obama is using this to target only X is ridiculous.
No, I think that DOJ is using illegal means to harass lawful civilians engaged in lawful acts in their pursuit of happiness. The issue is that the Dept of Justice is using means to shutdown otherwise "legal" business operations.
The above contradicts your ill-informed view.Of course, most of these operations occur in a very grey area (prostitution is illegal but escort services are legal)
On this point we agree.but I think it should be ended.
I know it's a novel concept but how about Issis and Republicans in the House actually stay on topic regarding the issue instead of trying to turn this into another highly political dog and pony show?
