I'm exited about the upcoming midterms. Trump has created a euphoria of economic growth and optimism and that's why his approval ratings are going up. Democrats will lose in the 2018 midterms.

Poll: Trump Beats Obama?s Approval, GOP Voters More Eager than Dems for Midterms

Predictions of a Blue Wave in the upcoming midterm elections fueled by opposition to President Donald Trump may not be considering the president’s popularity with his base and the enthusiasm of Republican voters, according to a new poll by Rasmussen Reports.

On June 7, 2018, Trump had a 49 percent approval rating compared to Barack Obama, who had a 46 percent approval rating on June 7, 2010.

The American people, for the most part, are not stupid. They know that President Trump’s policies are the reason for the booming economy. We’ll soon see record revenues going into the black hole of big government. Lefties will continue their assault against everything Trump. Republicans will continue to hold power, though undeservedly. Hopefully, after November, they’ll have the balls to start pressing Trump’s agenda without fear.

This explains why the Democrats lead in genetic Congressional races increased from 5.5 percent two weeks ago to more than eight percent at the end of last week.

Rasmussen, if you don’t know, is and always has been would be fairy dust for Republicans. For example, on 2012 election eve it was picking Romney to win. No other national poll was so out of touch.

Just another Trumpster (OP) out to Trump up some obscure statistics to sway a few reader/voters, well good luck, this is DP.

Economic cycles come and go regardless of who is president.

The upturn began in 2010 when Obama was in office. Trump is simply riding the crest of that cycle.

Meh. I am voting against the GOP. That is all I can do and all I control.

And you are forgetting one thing while shaking those pom poms.

The Democrats hatred of Trump, it is powerful, do not underestimate it, though you already have.

Shhh, don't piss on the OP's cheerleading.

...that's why his approval ratings are going up.
To be fair Trump's approval rating took a turn for the worse at the end of last year.
Now it's not as bad.

On June 7, 2018, Trump had a 49 percent approval rating compared to Barack Obama, who had a 46 percent approval rating on June 7, 2010.
This only works if you cherry pick the polls

If you look at Nate Silver's site, you'll see
Obama beats Trump in approval by 5.8%
Obama beats Trump in net approval approval by 12.6%

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/
Play around with the "How Trump compares with past presidents" tool.

Trump does beat Obama when it comes to disapproval ratings.
Trump's disapproval ratings are historic.
Trump has the largest disapproval ratings, the best disapproval ratings.

If you use Silver's combinations of polls you get good data.
If you cherry pick your polls you get feel-good data.
