I didn't say they did. They placed the ball in the senates court in hopes they wouldn't call them. That's why they punted in the house. They could have called them there, they chose not to. Joe Biden on the stand is going to go real bad for dems. Hunter Biden, Schiff and the whistleblower on the stand will he epic political pornography.

Sorry that does not fly either. Trump said NO to all witnesses and all documents which is even BY DOJ'a own opinion, not something that can be resolved in the Courts. The only rebuttal to Trump's NO witnesses, no documents, no cooperation, no negotiation position was Impeachment. Guess what...he is Impeached.

Has DOJ investigated them. NOPE Barr's DOJ apparently does not think they have a rational for opening a case.

Did the GOP which alternately had majorities in House in Senate ever even offer rebuttal to what Joe Biden was doing in the moment or after it? NOPE

They had the House Majority for 6 of Obama's 8 years. Anything in the moment or after it. NOPE....CRICKETS

They could have gotten Bolton but were too 'cowardly.' Now they are whining like babies who cant get their way. Yes Trump was impeached, but he is also going to be re-elected.

The T-party Senators are dancing around trying to avoid Subpoenas for witnesses and documents. They have a 53-47 Majority in the Senate. They don't need a single Dem vote to call whomever they want. Cowards....sniveling cowards.

Which could not have been enforced through the courts because Executive Privilege was not asserted by Trump. No witnesses, no documents, no cooperation, no negotiation without reason was all that was asserted by Trump and his low rent legal team. The only response left open to the House was Impeachment and he has been Impeachment.

You should read Barr'DOJ briefs and DOJ OLC's own opinion which is the HOUSE had no standing in the courts to to seek support for their Subpoenas.

And would not have been able to enforce it. Why should they yield to Trump's stonewalling. He wanted to be Impeached. So he got himself impeached.

Not so. Read Cippelone's letters which are the Trump legal team's responses. They completely rejected the subpoenas under a blanket assertion that they would just say NO. Executive Privilege and immunity can be adjudicated through the Courts. They didn't assert either! Trump opted for an Obstruction of Congress Impeachment Article to go with his Abuse of Power Article and he got it.

Thats been debunked by the defense. The House dems goal was to impeach, then demand the senate call witnesses it didnt want to want to call. And there is nothing cowardly about the republican senators standing up to left wing pressure. Quite the opposite actually. Start using your own head rather than just following the liberal herd by coming here and repeating what your masters tell you to say.

I have no doubt that it will be more than just John Bolton who is called. I also have no doubt that by the time it is all said and done, the outcome will not be affected. It is going to get awfully messy, though.

At this point it seems likely that Trump floated the idea of using the aid as some sort of leverage to get to the bottom of what was going on in Ukraine prior to him taking office but stopped just short of actually making it an "official" position. This sort of left the whole ordeal in a cloud of ambiguity. Just my opinion but given the evidence, it seems like the most plausible explanation.

Given that Trump has been cheating at business all his life, telling lies like no one else ever has, cheated cancer kids out of his charity money to benefit himself, paid porn stars to benefit himself, on and on and on it goes. Why would you not believe Trump attempted to cheat in the up coming election. He stated in a TV interview that he would be fine with it.

Joni Earnst even stated in an interview yesterday in so many words that this whole scandal was to destroy Joe Biden in the election. She really showed her true colors yesterday. I hope Joe takes Iowa by a land slide.
