Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg[

If you were so smart then you would know intelligence has almost nothing to do with age, no matter which of the intelligences we are talking about.

This link runs parallel to what I have been saying here and for decades. Why do you submit it in this discussion?

This is why one can test a genius and yet be very flawed.

?????????????

So? Look at who our ****ing POTUS is.

I am a bernie bro, and I will vote for him in the primary. But at this stage, I've become a bi-issue voter - cannabis rights, and single payer.

Thus, I will not vote for a single republican going forward, because they are against those two positions.

You do realize the single payer is not gonna happen? And honest, with all respect, cannabis rights?

We have a ****in lunatic in the white house and you are worried about pot? I am guessing it is because you feel it is of benefit to you or another sick family member in which case I do understand.

You called Beto O'Rourke "Bozo Beto," you called Warren "Pocohontas," you're crapping on Pete Buttigieg's age (which makes him legally allowed to run for President), his experience (which he has), and later his sexual orientation.

Be honest: were you ever going to vote for a Democrat?

I expect more of my own. I wish you would too.

Yes I am a registered Republican since 1975 but I have not voted for the GOp presidential candidate since ! voted against Bill, twice.

I did not "crap" on Buttigieg's homosexuality, I simply pointed out that it is a liability in getting elected in 2020 American.

AND YEAH, i AM PROUD TO NOT BE A MINDLESS TRIBAL sloth.

Warren is horrible, Beto is horrible.

This kid I like. I just have concerns when MUCH better choices are available.

Your regurgitation of right wing talking points makes me skeptical about your motivations here.

Yeah...the people presiding over some of the WORST **** HOLE cities in the US...should be in charge of the entire nation.

Welcome to the inanity of Left World: ACTUAL TRACK RECORD = IGNORED

PC/LGBT "CRED" = "What's important."

Which city did Trump preside over again?

I understand.

As a TRUE centrist, no one is comfortable with me.

One thing you to take to the bank. I despise Trump.

If that's true, then your tactics are self-defeating.

I really do despise Trump, and my position is to support my preferred Democratic candidates, speak ill of other Democratic candidates to a minimal degree, and line up behind whichever candidate wins the Primary.

For example, Tulsi Gabbard is my least favorite candidate, but if she were to win, I'd canvas neighborhoods for her happily.

My tactics will contribute to a unified effort to kick Trump out of office. Your tactics contribute to a divided Democratic Party that will result in a second Trump term.

I disagree that one must cloak their real feeling, especially at this juncture.

Tulsi Gabbard, lol, but she is "fighting for people!" lol

If it's true that you despise Trump, and if it's true that you would rather see a "crack whore" replace him, then every time you make posts attacking and demeaning Democratic candidates using right wing talking points, remember that Republicans are going into 2020 completely united.

Sorry, you are way overboard. IMHO

Interestingly enough, on the subject of Trump and his very effective nick names, I watch Hannity two nights ago. (side story to that, I had not had Fox News for years, since I cut cable. I went back to cable just to get this one network! Why? Because I needed to hear what it was they were saying given the incredible divide in the country. i learned quickly, they are CAUSING this divide.) I could not believe it. He call Beto, Bozo maybe 50 times. Virtually never used his real name. Then he started to talk about Biden. All he called him was Crazy Joe.

I NEVER have heard this kind of "behavior" on any MSM station or paper. How on earth do these Trump cultists believe that this is a "news" network?

WTF is wrong with Trumpets?

Trump is part of the reason why I am voting all dem. However, the cannabis thing is becauseL

A. My mother has a failed quadruple fusion in her spine thanks to an at fault driver causing a major accident. The only thing that helps is cannabis.
B. I have IBS, and a bad lumbar.

Cannabis is essential to my ability to live a good life.

As I thought. I hope all works out.

I did not say one must take a specific path. I offered a reasonable template to follow. Had I said you must be a rep and then senator, that would be different.

He falsely, as are you, assigning me a position I did not take.

And just because someone becomes president without proper experience does not make it acceptable in others.

So the post was faulty logic in two ways.

Can you explain the exact fallacy he committed? All he did was give examples of past presidents and their experience. Providing information doesn't seem to commit a fallacy.

Because people are emotional.

Yeah, about certain things. Most Americans, let alone centrists, don't get worked up about homosexuality anymore. The Evangelicals, no doubt, will try to make a big deal about it but they will only look foolish.

While the Fake News gushes over his "gayness"....because genitalia, and genital preferences are "KEY" to great leadership...

Yeah...he should be running the country, because he's gay. :doh

Mayors Of Worst American Cities Are Running For President

Mayor Peter Buttigieg has announced that he’s forming an exploratory committee for a 2020 run. Media reports have focused on the possibility that he might become America’s first gay millennial president, instead of on the fact that he’s headed a city since 2011 which has double the national and statewide violent crime rates. And a city where Hispanic poverty rates are 10% higher than the national average, African-American households have double the poverty rate, and Asian-American incomes are halved.

South Bend was recently rated one of the “worst cities” to live in. The unemployment rates are higher than average, the property values are lower, and even the water quality is below average.

Gushing media reports about the gay millennial mayor, a Harvard grad and a Rhodes scholar, overlook South Bend’s poverty rate of 24.7% and that 45% of households are living near the poverty level.

Why would taking on the challenge of being mayor of a very impoverished city be a bad thing for a presidential candidate? You are really fishing this time, Grok, and that is saying a lot.

so accumulation of knowledge is irrelevant to you?

I'll check you link now because I am sure you AGAIN are assigning me a position I did not take to demand I defend it.

Watch how you word things or I'll think you are being rude and not having a friendly discussion.

How am I being rude? You are essentially arguing that Donald Trump is twice as smart as Mayor Pete because he is double his age...

If you are myopic in understanding, maybe.

That said, I have ZERO doubt that Trump is smarter than "mayor Pete" in many avenues.

It seems to me you (hopefully) honestly believe that knowledge is something bestowed by virtue of a certificate and under that premise you would be correct. Mayor Pete is likely smarter than TRump. I reject that definition of "smart" however.

I don't think you need to get worked up over it for it to subconsciously be uncomfortable with it. Moderate or not.

Most of our reactions are directed by our subconscious.

Any thing out of the ordinary makes us uncomfortable to varying degree.

He didn't commit a strawman fallacy since he never said you held a position that you don't.

Then why did he submit that list?

I totally agree with this post.

I to liked Buttigieg's answers today on Morning Joe. MUCH better than the crap coming out of Gillibrand, Pocahontas, Klobuchar, Bozo Beto, Bernie... but he is 38. that is much worse than Crazy Joe being 76.

Indeed, get elected to the House, then the Senate then come back.

Losing a Senate race in TX does not qualify one to be President although that is being pushed in our face too.

He was merely pointing out that most presidents don't have the experience that you are suggesting him to get and then "come back".

He didn't say that you claimed it was a requirement or anything else that I'm aware of.
