Obama created over 15 million jobs 2009-2017. Look at this government chart:

Trump hasn't done a damn thing to create jobs other than throw out Obama-era regulations on polluters like coal companies. He is only riding on the wave created by Obama.

It's been said that good fences make good neighbors. But in Aspen, Colo., this week, Vice President Mike Pence has something different posted between his vacation lodging and that of the people next door.

Specifically, it's a rainbow banner reading “Make America Gay Again.” It appeared on a stone pillar in front of the house where Pence and his wife are staying this week.

The daughters of the couple across the street and one of their girlfriends reportedly draped the rainbow banner on the pillar while a Pitkin County deputy and Secret Service members stood nearby, the Aspen Times reported. The stone pillar is situated at the end of the driveway between the two homes.


According to the Times, the Secret Service agents were unfazed when the women draped the banner over the pillar, telling them, “We’re not here to control your free speech rights.”

The women reportedly became less timid afterward, and later brought out chili and corn muffins for the county deputies and Secret Service agents who were stationed at the foot of the driveway.

While governor of Indiana, Pence signed legislation that critics said encouraged discrimination against gay people, has previously opposed repealing the U.S. military's former “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and once likened marriage equality to “societal collapse” -- positions that have placed him at odds with the LGBTQ community.

Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo said he is in favor of free speech and that Aspen has a long history of irreverence when it came to powerful people visiting the area.

The Pence family arrived to Aspen on Tuesday and were expected to leave next week.

I'm all for the people's right to do this, but I also think it's kind of dumb and not very productive. About the only positive aspect is keeping the issue somewhat in the news, but even that's minor.

But their story is true. Most of America's wealth will start flowing to the very rich next year. Their objective: loot most Americans so more money will flow to Republican superPACs that will fund their reelection campaigns. They figured out that this is the only way they can stay in power. It would be cynical if it wasn't outright theft from those who can least afford it.

Why do you trust them? They are the same outfit that claimed that Obama "created jobs" when Americans were unemployed and underemployed from 2009-2017.

It is called the Great Obama Recession for a reason.

The results speak for themselves. Unemployment is at a historic low & Chump had very little to do with that other than countermanding Obama regulations about big corporations polluting our lakes & rivers with their toxic waste.

He is an American, not a politician.

You lost me at Jewish. My family is primarily Irish Catholic with some French Catholics mixed in by marriage - and probably the desire for better sex. Who can blame them?

I had the great fortune to grow up in mixed ethnic/religious neighborhoods adjacent to university campuses. I could go on about it. I will be forever grateful for the experience. My friends were Jewish, Mormon, Baptist, Catholic, Muslim and who knows what else. None of us gave a fat rat's ass. We certainly cared less than our parents, who for the most part were not concerned.

You want to talk to me about Jews? In the 8th grade I discovered true feminine beauty. She was a Jewish classmate. She was everything possible in my world at the time. You know what? I was fortunate enough to have been raised without the prejudice that you seem to have. She was beautiful because she was, bright because she was and enchanting because she was. She was perfect until she shot my slobbering ass down like a rocket. It had virtually nothing to do with the fact that I wasn't Jewish.

Growing up I had close Catholic friends and close Jewish friends and others. Honestly, no one cared. We really didn't. It didn't matter. We never thought twice about it. OK, that's not completely true. Nothing was better than food I enjoyed in Jewish homes, except for the Greek food I loved in Greek homes or the Italian food I enjoyed in Italian homes and of course the Southern food I enjoyed everywhere else.

You want to talk to me about Jewish people? Talk to me too about the Muslim people I knew and know. Talk to me about the Mexican people I know living in Arizona. Tell me too how my African-American friends are less worthy than you. Tell me! I'll listen.

I've never heard much complaining about Irish-Americans being cops and firemen. I've never heard much complaining about Mexicans being masterful builders. I've never heard much about African-Americans being incredible musicians. The facts are that Irish-Americans are much more than cops and firemen. Mexicans are much more than master builders. African-Americans are much more than gifted musicians. But Jews, those bastards "run the media."
