Lol, that is not what she said. At this moment, going through impeachment proceedings would be a gamble, as the Republicans learned with the Clinton Impeachment. Trump is doing a fine job digging his own grave and getting Democrats elected. Ethically, I don't agree with her, but pragmatically I understand.

Pelosi's right. The time and energy required to impeach Trump, with no guarantee's of success, would be better spent beating him on the campaign. To date it seems like they are going to have a hard enough time not getting swamped by the fringe left.

The best punishment for Trump\result for the U.S. would be to reject him in 2020, and put in a better president with better policies.

It shouldn't be difficult, but just watch how hard we make it for ourselves.

Just for clarity, Trump as Individual 1 has not even been named as an unindicted coconspirator in the SDNY case which is the case Media talking heads say should be enough for impeachment right now. My question: BASED ON WHAT EXACTLY... Not supposedly, not possibly, not theoretically, not hypothetically but EXACTLY! In other words, the most aggressive posture you can take for Impeachment right this minute, does not get you there right now no matter what some idiot media talking head thinks.

Pelosi is simply trying to keep her troops gunpowder dry...nothing more and nothing less. Bad enough Donkey Tom Styer has been singing his impeachment ASAP song for months without a single hook he can hang his claim on that would receive bipartisan support. So what is Styer's position today, "well we heard from Cohen. Time to impeach". Even the emoluments issue has not been fleshed out yet and you need at least one example of state of mind that you can prove even for impeachment if you want to hang your claim on Obstruction of Justice. We just arn't there .......YET!

Pelosi would need at least some Republican votes in the House even to Impeach on a bipartisan basis never mind Remove in the Senate. Right this minute, she would get NO GOP VOTES in the House....none....zippo.....nada!

I vote for both parties in elections and voted for Obama in 2012. I'd like to see Joe Manchin run but I doubt he will. I'm interested to hear what John Hickenlooper says.
