Only black reporters allowed in Mayoral race event

The definition I provided applies to what happened at that church.

They engaged in "racial discrimination" by denying reporters of certain races access to the meeting, which is the definition of "racism".

What I don't understand is how anyone can argue that fact.

It is true... using partial definitions is not an accurate way to define a whole term. Historically, racism has ALWAYS included superiority.

Yes they are.

Don't get me wrong... I believe things like the civil rights act were necessary to effect changes in our society that needed to take place. They were implemented in the name of equality and growing up in the late 60's and 70's, I can attest to their effectiveness.

This reminds me of a little stop n shop I used to stop at every morning for my coffee and a donut in Houston. It was an hour or more ride into work with the traffic and that became my routine. One morning I pulled up and there is a sign on the door no black people allowed. I couldn't believe my eyes. I told the old guy behind the counter you can't do that. He argued with me that it is his store and he don't want them in his store. He started yelling at me they don't buy anything only steal stuff. He wanted me to look at the video cameras of them constantly stealing from him. I said to him show it to the police. He said they wont look at the video either. I call them and they told me to move. He actually ended up closing that store and opening up in a different neighborhood. What ticked me off was the coffee and donut were only a dollar and the donuts were fresh made every morning. Plus I was in and out in a minute. Oh well.

That just isn't true.

On a systemic level, that is certainly the case, which applies to definitions 1 and 2... But racism is not something that is limited to laws and the government, it's also something found on an individual or localized level, where superiority is irrelevant. That's the reason the definition does not specify state anywhere that racism can only apply to white people or any particular race.

Definition #3 applies to people of all races, no matter what system of government they may reside under.

How come the girls can now join the boy scouts but the boys can't join the girl scouts. They claim they are struggling for members. I bet a lot of boys would love to join the girls scouts. Most of my friends in the boy scouts back when I was a teenager were scouting for girls.

I don't think the Scouts should be intertwined but sports should be... there are girls good enough to be on boys teams but boys that are not good enough to be on boys teams... how come some guy that stinks at soccer on a boys level can't play with the girls team where he might just be average or worse? Shouldn't sports be by ability level instead of something arbitrary like gender? Shouldn't there be a white NBA for all the white guys not as good as the black guys?

I like the ability idea. But that takes the race card out of the equation. What will our media do for sensationalism. Trump won't live forever. Hate and the race card can be around forever if it is fueled properly.
